David Evans (born 9 November 1989) is an English professional darts player and previous BDO world Number 2 until 2020 and held a PDC tour card for 2 years, losing it at the end of 2022. David has won 3 Challenge Tour Titles and topped the Challenge Tour Order of Merit in 2020. David played in the Professional Darts Corporation until the December 2022, after obtaining his Tour Card through topping the Challenge Tour Order Of Merit in 2020. He now Plays on the PDC Challenge Tour across Germany and UK and ADC events across the UK. Also featuring on the Modus Super Series recently. David is a 3 x Challenge Tour Winner, and a 6 x participant of the UK Open. He has played in 2 European Tour in Sindelfingen and Jena averaging over 100 on his debut. Tyldesley () is a town in the Metropolitan Borough of Wigan in Greater Manchester, England. Within the boundaries of the historic county of Lancashire, it is north of Chat Moss near the foothills of the West Pennine Moors, southeast of Wigan and northwest of Manchester. Tijs Michiel Verwest (; born 17 January 1969), known professionally as Tiësto ( ), is a Dutch DJ and music producer from Breda. 2020 BDO World Darts Championship
The 2020 BDO World Professional Darts Championship was the 43rd and final World Championship organised by the British Darts Organisation, and the only staging at the Indigo at The O2 in London. It was the first BDO World Darts Championship not held at the Lakeside Country Club since 1985. Gabriel Pascaru and Thibault Tricole became the first players from Romania and France respectively to play in a World Darts Championship. Three-time men's defending champion Glen Durrant was absent from the event, having switched to the Professional Darts Corporation in January 2019. The reigning women's champion was Mikuru Suzuki. 2021 PDC World Darts Championship
The 2021 PDC World Darts Championship (known for sponsorship reasons as the 2021 William Hill World Darts Championship) was the 28th World Championship organised by the Professional Darts Corporation since it separated from the British Darts Organisation. The collapse of the BDO in September 2020 and subsequent postponement of the World Darts Federation-sanctioned event meant that this edition was the first undisputed World Championship in the sport since John Lowe won the Embassy in 1993. It was the nineteenth year of the tournament where players compete in a single elimination tournament to be crowned champion. Ross Smith (born 12 January 1989) is an English professional darts player who plays in events of the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC). He is the winner of the 2022 European Championship. Career Smith began playing in Professional Darts Corporation events in 2005 and made his debut in the Vauxhall Spring Open, reaching the last 16. Smith then reached the final of the WDF Europe Youth Cup, losing to Dutchman Johnny Nijs. Smith had little success afterwards on the PDC circuit and switched to the BDO in 2007.
