David Carter (basketball)
David Allen Carter (born March 12, 1967) is an American college basketball coach who is an assistant coach at Loyola Marymount University. From 1999 to 2009, Carter was an assistant at the University of Nevada, Reno, under Trent Johnson from 1999 to 2004 and Mark Fox from 2004 to 2009, including as associate head coach beginning in 2005. On April 3, 2009, Carter became head coach after Fox left to become head coach at Georgia. Carter was fired by the University of Nevada, Reno in March 2015. In June, Carter re-joined Saint Mary's as assistant coach, this time under Randy Bennett. Carter was an assistant at Saint Mary's from 1997 to 1999 under Dave Bollwinkel. On June 7, 2017, Carter was once again hired by Fox as an assistant coach, this time for Georgia, replacing former assistant Yasir Rosemond. McKeon Pavilion
University Credit Union Pavilion (formerly McKeon Pavilion) is a 3,500-seat multi-purpose arena at Saint Mary's College of California in Moraga, California. Home men's and women's basketball and volleyball games are held in the gymnasium, the team nickname being the Gaels. Many athletic camps for youths also use the gym, primarily in the summer, and other on-campus events, such as the Baccalaureate mass, are also held there. Banners commemorating successful seasons, championships and post-season appearances for all Saint Mary's sports hang on the back wall. At well-attended games, the court-level bleachers opposite the benches are reserved entirely for students. Common criticism of the gym, including by students, is its age and size. The 2010–11 Nevada Wolf Pack men's basketball team represented the University of Nevada, Reno during the 2010–11 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The 2010 National Invitation Tournament was a single-elimination tournament of 32 National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I teams that were not selected to participate in the 2010 NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament. Samuel Elden Scholl (born November 11, 1977) is an American college basketball coach who is the former head men's basketball coach at the University of San Diego. Playing career Scholl started his playing career at Tacoma Community College for two seasons before transferring to the University of San Diego to complete his playing eligibility under Brad Holland with the San Diego Toreros. Coaching career After graduation, Scholl joined Holland's staff and stayed with the Toreros for seven seasons, where he was part of the team's 2003 NCAA tournament appearance. Thomas Aaron Crean (born March 25, 1966) is a college basketball coach. Most recently, he was the head coach for the Georgia Bulldogs basketball, University of Georgia men's basketball team. Crean was previously the head coach of Indiana Hoosiers men's basketball, Indiana University. Prior to that, he served as head coach at Marquette Golden Eagles men's basketball, Marquette University (1999–2008), where his team reached the 2003 NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament, 2003 NCAA Final Four. Randall William Bennett (born June 9, 1962) is an American college basketball coach and the current head men's basketball coach at Saint Mary's College of California.
