David Breen
David Breen (born 20 September 1985) is an Irish hurler who played centre-forward and was the captain of the Limerick senior team. Breen made his first appearance for the team during the 2009 championship and has become a regular member of the starting fifteen over the last few seasons. Since then he has won one National Hurling League (Division 2) winners' medal. At club level, Breen has won both Munster and county championship winners' medals with Na Piarsaigh. Playing career Club Breen plays his club hurling with the Na Piarsaigh club in Limerick. After developing his hurling at juvenile levels he later came to prominence as a member of the club's minor hurling team. He enjoyed little success in this grade, however, he later joined the Na Piarsaigh under-21 team. He won a county under-21 championship title in this grade in 2004 following a defeat of Doon. Na Piarsaigh (Limerick) Hurlers
Na Piarsaigh are a hurling and Gaelic football club based in the north side of Cork City, Ireland. History Formation In 1943 a group of idealistic young men drawn mostly from the hurling nursery of North Mon laid the foundations of Cumann Iomana & Peile Na Piarsaigh. The group had its first formal meeting in the presbytery of the North Cathedral. The young men called upon one of their teachers, Donnacha Ó Murchú, for guidance and assistance. This led to him becoming the first ''Uachtarán'' residentof the club, with Derry Terry serving as ''Runaí'' ecretaryand Paddy Sutton as ''Cisteoir'' reasurer In choosing a name for the club the members sought one which would reflect their aims and ideals. Donal O'Grady (Limerick Hurler)
Donal O'Grady (born 3 July 1980) is an Irish hurler who played as a midfielder and later centre back for the Limerick senior team. Born in Ballingarry, County Limerick, O'Grady first arrived on the inter-county scene at the age of twenty-one when he first linked up with the Limerick under-21 team. He made his senior debut in the 2004 championship. O'Grady has since gone on to play a key part for Limerick, and has won one Munster medal and one National League (Division 2) medal. O'Grady has been an All-Ireland runner-up on one occasion. O'Grady has been a member of the Munster inter-provincial team on a number of occasions and has won two Railway Cup medals. Gavin O'Mahony (born 11 June 1987) is an Irish sportsperson. He plays hurling with his local club Kilmallock and was a member of the Limerick senior inter-county team from 2007 until 2017. The 2013 All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship was the 126th staging of the All-Ireland championship since its establishment in 1887. The draw for the 2013 fixtures took place on 4 October 2012. The championship began on 5 May 2013 and ended on 28 September 2013 with Clare winning their fourth All Ireland title after a 5–16 to 3–16 win against Cork in the replayed final. The 2011 National Hurling League (known as the Allianz Hurling League for sponsorship reasons) was the 80th season of the National Hurling League. Ticket prices In January 2011, the GAA announced a reduction in ticket prices for the 2011 National Hurling League. The decision to cut prices was announced at a Central Council meeting and will see the cost of admission to a league game in the first division of the NHL dropping from €15 to €13, with a €5 admission to lower-level hurling games. The GAA Hurling All-Ireland Senior Club Championship, known simply as the All-Ireland Club Championship, is an annual inter-county hurling competition organised by the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA). It is the highest inter-county club hurling competition in Ireland, and has been contested every year since the 1970-71 championship (except for 2020-2021, due to the COVID-19 pandemic). The final, currently held on the third Sunday in January, is the culmination of a series of games played between October and February with the winners receiving the Tommy Moore Cup.
