Dave Pilipovich
David Gabe Pilipovich (born January 28, 1964) is an American basketball coach. Pilipovich is an assistant coach at The University of New Mexico He played college basketball at Thiel and has been a basketball coach since 1988. After five years as an assistant coach at the program, Pilipovich was head coach at the U.S. Air Force Academy from 2012 to 2020. Early life and education Pilipovich grew up in Duquesne, Pennsylvania and graduated from Duquesne High School. At Thiel College, Pilipovich played basketball for four years and was a team captain as a senior. He graduated from Thiel in 1986 with a bachelor's degree in business administration. In 1988, he completed a master's degree in geography and regional planning from California University of Pennsylvania. New Mexico Lobos Men's Basketball
The New Mexico Lobos men's basketball team represents the University of New Mexico, competing in the Mountain West Conference (MWC) in NCAA Division I. The university established basketball as a varsity sport in 1899 and began competing with regional colleges after establishing an athletics department in 1920. Lobo basketball first achieved national prominence after Bob King was hired as head coach in 1962. King transformed a moribund program into a consistent winner and produced future ABA MVP Mel Daniels. The Lobos won the Western Athletic Conference (WAC) championship in 1964 and 1968, making frequent appearances in national rankings. The team reached the NIT tournament final in 1964 and received its first bid to the NCAA tournament in 1968. Thiel College
Thiel College (, ) is a private college in Greenville, Pennsylvania. It is affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and is one of the smallest colleges or universities in the region with about 100 full-time and part time faculty members. History Founded in 1866 as a coeducational institution, Thiel College started as a result of a meeting between the Rev. Dr. William Passavant and A. Louis Thiel. The NBA G League, or simply the G League, is the National Basketball Association's (NBA) official List of developmental and minor sports leagues, minor league basketball organization. The league was known as the National Basketball Development League (NBDL) from 2001 to 2005, and the NBA Development League (NBA D-League) from 2005 until 2017. Hawaii Rainbow Warriors Basketball
The Hawaiʻi Rainbow Warriors basketball team represents the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa in NCAA men's competition. (Women's sports teams at the school are known as Rainbow Wahine.) Jeff Reynolds
Jeffrey Lee Reynolds (born September 7, 1956) is an American college basketball coach. He is a special assistant basketball coach under Brad Brownell at Clemson. Reynolds served as the head men's basketball coach at North Carolina Wesleyan College in 1985–96, Wingate University from 1997 to 2000, and the United States Air Force Academy from 2007 to 2012. Early life and playing career Born in Mountain City, Tennessee, Reynolds played college basketball at Surry Community College from 1974 to 1976 then at UNC Greensboro from 1976 to 1978. As a junior in 1976–77, Reynolds averaged 6.3 points.
