Dave Huffman
David Lambert Huffman (April 4, 1957 – November 21, 1998) was an American college and professional American football, football player who was an offensive lineman in the National Football League and United States Football League (USFL) for twelve seasons during the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s. Huffman played college football for the University of Notre Dame, where he was a member of Notre Dame's 1977 national championship team and an All-American. He played professionally for the NFL's Minnesota Vikings, and the Memphis Showboats of the USFL. Early years Huffman was born in Canton, Ohio. Center or Centre (C) is a position in gridiron football. The center is the innermost Lineman (American football), lineman of the offensive line on a football team's Offense (sports), offense. The center is also the player who passes (or "Snap (gridiron football), snaps") the ball between his legs to the quarterback at the start of each Play from scrimmage, play. Ara Parseghian
Ara Raoul Parseghian (; hy, Արա Ռաուլ Պարսեղյան; May 21, 1923 – August 2, 2017) was an American football player and coach who guided the University of Notre Dame to national championships in 1966 and 1973. He is noted for bringing Notre Dame's Fighting Irish football program back from years of futility into national prominence in 1964 and is widely regarded alongside Knute Rockne and Frank Leahy as a part of the "Holy Trinity" of Notre Dame head coaches. Parseghian grew up in Akron, Ohio and played football beginning in his junior year of high school. He enrolled at the University of Akron, but soon quit to join the U.S. Navy for two years during World War II. After the war, he finished his college career at Miami University in Ohio and went on to play halfback for the Cleveland Browns of the All-America Football Conference in 1948 and 1949. The 1998 LSU Tigers football team represented Louisiana State University in the 1998 NCAA Division I-A football season. They were coached by Gerry DiNardo. The Tigers played their home games at Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. In the beginning of the season, expectations were high as LSU had tied for the SEC West title but lost tiebreakers the previous two seasons. After a 3–0 start and No. 6 national ranking, the Tigers' season stunningly fell apart. They finished 1–7 in the last eight games of the season with many close losses, and finished with a record of 4–7. Timothy Patrick Huffman (born August 31, 1959) is a former guard in the National Football League (NFL). Biography Huffman was born in Canton, Ohio.
