Dave Hill (comedian)
Dave Hill is an American comedian, radio host, writer, musician and actor originally from Cleveland, Ohio. He is the host of ''The Dave Hill Goodtime Hour'', a weekly livestream and podcast part of the Maximum Fun network. In 2007 ''Variety (magazine), Variety'' named Hill one of their "10 Comics to Watch". Prior to going into entertainment, Hill worked as an aide at a homeless shelter. Career Comedy Hill was a frequent panelist on Comedy Central's ''@midnight'' program and has appeared on ''Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt'', ''The Tick (2016 TV series)'', ''Inside Amy Schumer'', ''Full Frontal with Samantha Bee'', ''Comedy Knockout'', and ''The Jim Gaffigan Show'', among other shows. Sing Sing
Sing Sing Correctional Facility, formerly Ossining Correctional Facility, is a maximum-security prison operated by the New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision in the village of Ossining, New York. It is about north of New York City on the east bank of the Hudson River. It holds about 1,700 inmates and housed the execution chamber for the State of New York until the abolition of capital punishment in New York in 2004. The name "Sing Sing" was derived from the Sintsink Native American tribe from whom the land was purchased in 1685, and was formerly the name of the village. In 1970, the prison's name was changed to the Ossining Correctional Facility, but it reverted to its original name in 1985. Bridgetown Comedy Festival
The Bridgetown Comedy Festival is a stand-up comedy festival located in the Hawthorne district of Portland, Oregon that took place every spring from 2008 to 2017, featuring standup comedy showcases, live podcasts, panel discussions and improv comedy. It was created in October 2007 by comedians Andy Wood and Matt Braunger and filmmaker Kimberly Brady. Reception In 2010, Ben Bateman of Willamette Week newspaper called Bridgetown "the fastest-growing comedy extravaganza in America." The Melbourne International Comedy Festival (MICF) is the largest stand-alone comedy festival and the second-largest international comedy festival in the world. The Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre (shorter UCB Theatre) is an American improvisational theatre company and training center founded by the Upright Citizens Brigade troupe members Matt Besser, Amy Poehler, Ian Roberts and Matt Walsh.
