Dave Chadwick

	Dave Chadwick Dave Chadwick (24 September 1930–15 May 1960) was a Grand Prix motorcycle road racer. His best season was in 1958 when he finished in fourth place in the 350cc world championship, and fifth in the 125cc world championship. Chadwick was killed in 1960 while competing in the Mettet International Road Races in Belgium. 	1955 Dutch TT The 1955 Dutch TT was the sixth round of the 1955 Grand Prix motorcycle racing season. It took place on 16 July 1955 at the Circuit van Drenthe, Assen. A new 4.7 mile (7.7 km) circuit had been built at Assen for the Dutch TT; the public road version was no longer used after 1954. picture info	Dutch TT The Dutch Tourist Trophy, also known as the ''TT Assen'', is an annual Dutch motorsport event established in 1925 for road racing motorcycles held on the TT Circuit Assen, also known as the ‘Cathedral of Speed'. The event attained world championship status in 1949 when it was sanctioned by the FIM as part of the inaugural Grand Prix motorcycle racing world championship season, making it the oldest event on the MotoGP calendar. The venue holds the record for being the only circuit to have hosted a motorcycle Grand Prix event every year since the series was created in 1949, with the exception of 2020 when the race was cancelled due to the outbreak of COVID-19. 	1957 Grand Prix Motorcycle Racing Season The 1957 Grand Prix motorcycle racing season was the ninth F.I.M. Road Racing World Championship Grand Prix season. The season consisted of six Grand Prix races in five classes: 500cc, 350cc, 250cc, 125cc and Sidecars 500cc. It began on 19 May, with German Grand Prix and ended with Nations Grand Prix in Italy on 1 September. Season summary 1957 marked the end of a Golden Era in Grand Prix motorcycle racing.
