Datu Mama Bago (1770 – March 15, 1850) was the Datu of Davao Gulf from 1800 till his death 1850, serving as vassal under the Sultanate of Maguindanao. ''Datu'' is a title which denotes the rulers (variously described in historical accounts as chiefs, sovereign princes, and monarchs) of numerous indigenous peoples throughout the Philippine archipelago. Davao Gulf is a gulf situated in the southeastern portion of Mindanao in the Philippines. It has an area of or about 520,000 hectares.
