D. D. Dabke or Dattatraya Damodar Dabke was an actor in the first ever British Raj, Indian full length silent film ''Raja Harishchandra'', directed by Dadasaheb Phalke in 1913. He co-starred with Anna Salunke. He acted in three more movies ''Satyavadi Raja Harishchandra'' (1917), ''Lanka Dahan'' (1917), ''Shri Krishna Janma'' (1918) and later became a cinematographer, as well as a director. Bandaru Dattatraya
Bandaru Dattatreya (born 12 June 1947) is an Indian politician serving as the current Governor of the State of Haryana since 2021. He was also the 20th Governor of Himachal Pradesh and was the Member of Lok Sabha for Secunderabad from 2014 to 2019. He belongs to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Born in Hyderabad, Dattatreya graduated with a science degree. He joined Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh in 1965 and was imprisoned during The Emergency. In 1991, he was elected to the Lok Sabha from Secunderabad constituency for the first time. In 1997, he was appointed party president for the state unit. In 1998, he was re-elected and served as Union Minister of State for Urban Development in the second Vajpayee ministry. Madhukar Dattatraya Deoras (11 December 1915 – 17 June 1996), popularly known as Balasaheb Deoras, was the third Sarsanghchalak of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). Biography Deoras was born in a Telugu-speaking Deshastha Rigvedi Brahmin (DRB) family on 11 December 1915 in Nagpur and raised in Andhra Pradesh. He was the eighth child of Dattatreya Krishnarao Deoras and Parvati-bai; the ninth child, his younger brother Bhaurao Deoras (Murlidhar alias Bhaurao), also became a ''pracharak'' of the RSS. During Balasaheb Deoras's tenure as RSS chief, Bhaurao Deoras played a key role in the organization in North India. Balasaheb Deoras was a student at New English High School. Dattatraya Ekbote, known popularly as Datta Ekbote (c. 1936 – 2 September 2020), was an Indian workers' rights activist, politician and former Mayor of Pune, the second largest city in Maharashtra (after Mumbai) and the eighth largest city in India. Ekbote was a longtime, vocal activist for workers' rights, especially in India's beedi industry. The beedi, or bidi, is a type of cigarette popular in India. Ekbote grew up in extreme poverty to become a prominent labor rights activist and politician. He was the former Maharashtra State Vice President of the Samajwadi Party. He was also a member of the Janata Party and, later in his career, the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP). Shankar Dattatraya Javdekar ( mr, शंकर दत्तात्रय जावडेकर) (1894–1955, alternatively ''Javadekar'' or ''Jawadekar''), popularly known as Acharya Javdekar, was a Marathi writer from Bombay State, India. He was born on 26 September 1894. His schooling was in Kolhapur, and he did his B.A. from Fergusson College, Pune, specialising in philosophy.
