Date Masamune (Sengoku Basara)
is a fictional videogame character from Capcom's popular action game franchise, ''Sengoku Basara'', first introduced in the 2005 video game ''Devil Kings''. In the North American and European versions, he is known as a warrior named Azure Dragon, but retained his original name in the series' third title. As with most ''Sengoku Basara'' characters, Masamune was loosely based on Japanese historical figure Date Masamune. Capcom created this fictional version of him in order to show an appeal based on the character's dragon motifs inherited from the real Date Masamune. Additionally, Masamune's design was intended show a major contrast with the one of the other protagonists from the series, Sanada Yukimura. Despite initial mixed reactions to Masamune's designs based on him wielding six swords at once, critics praised the characterization of Masamune in both the games and anime series based on multiple traits. is the fourth main installment of the ''Sengoku BASARA'' video game series, developed and published by Capcom for the PlayStation 3. The game was released in Japan on January 23, 2014. An expanded version of the game for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 titled ''Sengoku BASARA 4 Sumeragi'' was released in Japan on July 23, 2015. is a character created by Japanese video game designer Shigeru Miyamoto. He is the title character of the ''Mario'' franchise and the mascot of Japanese video game company Nintendo. Devil May Cry
is a series of action-adventure games created by Hideki Kamiya. It is primarily developed and published by Capcom. The series centers on the demon hunter Dante and his efforts to thwart various demon invasions of Earth. Its gameplay consists of combat scenes in which the player must attempt to extend long chains of attacks, avoiding damage and exhibiting stylized combat; this combat, along with time and the number of items collected and used, are considered in grading the player's performance. Across the series, new characters with unique skills are available. The series alludes to Dante's ''Divine Comedy''.
