A database transaction symbolizes a unit of work, performed within a database management system (or similar system) against a database, that is treated in a coherent and reliable way independent of other transactions. In computer science and data management, a commit is the making of a set of tentative changes permanent, marking the end of a transaction and providing ''Durability'' to ACID transactions. A ''commit'' is an act of committing. The record of commits is called the commit log. Binary Large Object
A binary large object (BLOB or blob) is a collection of binary data stored as a single entity. Blobs are typically images, audio or other multimedia objects, though sometimes binary executable code is stored as a blob. They can exist as persistent values inside some databases or version control system, or exist at runtime as program variables in some programming languages. It is not to be confused with a binary file stored in a file system. Autocommit

MyISAM
MyISAM was the default storage engine for the MySQL relational database management system versions prior to 5.5 released in December 2009. It is based on the older ISAM code, but it has many useful extensions. Filesystem Each MyISAM table is stored on disk in three files (if it is not partitioned).
