Darío Gómez
Darío de Jesús Gómez Zapata (6 February 1951 – 26 July 2022), simply called Darío Gómez, was a singer and composer of Música popular, known by the nickname "El Rey del Despecho" (lit. "King of Spite"), in reference to the "despecho" musical style for which he was famous. He began his career with the group Los Legendarios, before setting up his own record label. Over his career he sold more than six million albums sold in national and international markets. He is best known for the song "Nadie es eterno" ("Nobody Is Eternal"), as well as composing songs such as "La oveja negra" ("The Black Sheep"), "Tú y la gente" ("You and the People"), "El hijo del amor" ("The Son of Love"), "El rey del despecho" ("The King of Spite") and "Corazón resentido" ("Resentful Heart"). Luz Arelys Henao Ruiz (born 3 December 1976), is a Colombian singer and songwriter. Career Arelys was born in the municipality of Sabanalarga and moved to Medellín in 1988. In that city she began her artistic career, inspired by the referent of Colombian popular music Darío Gómez. In different journalistic spaces, the Colombian singer has spoken of the hard situation she had to live from a very young age due to her taste for music and the context of violence in which she grew up in the south of the department, very affected by the presence of guerrillas for decades. Óscar Agudelo
Luis Óscar Agudelo Márquez (23 September 1932 – 16 December 2023), popularly known as El Zorzal Criollo, was a Colombian musician. He was acknowledged to be the finest Colombian proponent of ''la canción sureña''. Agudelo was born in Fresno, Tolima in 1932. He studied in Ibagué, before developing as an artist in Pereira, Colombia, Pereira and Medellín. He made his debut in Girardot, Cundinamarca, Girardot with the song ''Hojas de Calendario''. There he formed a trio with the musicians Nelson Ibarra and Alfonso Medina, and from 1953 started to record discs. Between 1957 and 1960, he lived in Peru, Chile, Paraguay, Uruguay and Argentina. Although best known for ''la canción sureña'', the tango also formed an important part of his repertory. Agudelo lived in Bogotá. He died on 16 December 2023, at the age of 91. His health had been deteriorating for a number of months, and he had been suffering from both Parkinson's disease, Parkinson's and Alzheimer's diseases.

Alfredo de Jesús Gutiérrez Vital (born April 17, 1940) is a Colombian accordion player and singer famous for winning the "Vallenato Legend Festival" three times (since then he is known as the King of Kings). He was born in Palo Quemao, Colombia, and began playing accordion when he was four. In 1960 he started his professional career as a musician, but it was in 1968 when he consolidated his career when he got a deal with Codiscos record label and produced an album that gave him national acclaim.
