Daryl Ferrario
Daryl Sundar Ferrario (born 7 May 1998) is an Indian cricketer who plays for Kerala in domestic cricket. He is an all-rounder who bats right-handed and bowls right-arm offbreak. Early life Daryl was born 7 May 1998 on Malappuram in Kerala where his mother, Amala then worked as a doctor. He was named after the South African cricketer Daryll Cullinan, who was his mother's favourite cricketer and the Ferrari car, which his father was fond of. His father, Sunder Singh introduced him to cricket. Aged barely six, Daryl started to represent local cricket sides in the U-10 category in Chennai. He started his cricket training at J.S. Rao Academy from Grade II and later at CSSF. He grew up in Chennai where he was educated till Grade X in Don Bosco, Egmore. He then took a break from studies for two years to concentrate in cricket. Vijay Singh Madhavji Merchant , real name Vijay Madhav Thackersey (12 October 1911 – 27 October 1987) was an Indian cricketer. A right-hand batter and occasional right-arm medium pace bowler, Merchant played first-class cricket for Bombay cricket team as well as 10 Test matches for India between 1929 and 1951. Behind his limited Test appearances, he dominated Indian domestic cricket – his batting average of 71.64 is the second highest first-class average in history, behind only that of Don Bradman. The 2021 Tamil Nadu Premier League, also known as (TNPL-5) or, for sponsorship reasons, Shriram Capital TNPL, was the fifth season of the Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL), a professional Twenty20 cricket league established by the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association (TNCA) in 2016 . Salem Spartans
The Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL) is a professional Twenty20 cricket league contested in the state of Tamil Nadu in India and was formed in 2016 by the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association (TNCA). It is played during July and August of every year by eight teams representing eight districts in Tamil Nadu. Shriram Group is the current sponsor of the tournament. The first season was inaugurated by former Indian cricket team captain MS Dhoni. Then it was won by Tuti Patriots. There have been five seasons of TNPL. The current champions, Chepauk Super Gillies are also the most successful team after winning the title in 2017, 2019 and 2021. The Delhi cricket team is a first-class cricket team based in Delhi, run by the Delhi District Cricket Association, that plays in India's first class competition, the Ranji Trophy and limited-overs Vijay Hazare Trophy and Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.
