Darya Mykhaylova or Dariia Mykhailova ( uk, Дарія Михайлова or Дар'я Михайлова; born 29 April 1989 Bakhmach) is a Ukrainian long-distance runner. She competed in the women's marathon at the 2020 Summer Olympics held in Tokyo, Japan. Career In 2016, she competed in the women's half marathon at the European Athletics Championships held in Amsterdam, Netherlands. She finished in 54th place. She represented Ukraine at the 2017 World Championships in Athletics held in London, United Kingdom in the women's marathon. She finished in 44th place. She finished in 25th place in the women's marathon at the 2018 European Athletics Championships held in Berlin, Germany. In 2019, she competed in the senior women's race at the IAAF World Cross Country Championships held in Aarhus, Denmark. She finished in 24th place. Bakhmach
Bakhmach ( uk, Бахмач, lit=plantations, ) is a city located in Nizhyn Raion of Chernihiv Oblast (province), in northern Ukraine. It hosts the administration of Bakhmach urban hromada, one of the hromadas of Ukraine. It has a population of History Bakhmach was first mentioned in 1147 in the Hypatian Codex. Rapid development began in the 1860s and 1870s when the Libau–Romny Railway line nearby was under construction. The Battle of Bakhmach () was fought between the Czech legion in Russia, and German forces occupying Ukraine. Following a Legion victory, the Germans negotiated a truce. In January 1919, the city was the site of battles between the invading Bolsheviks forces and the Chornomorska Division, which was attempting to keep the Left-bank Ukraine under the control of the army of the Ukrainian National Republic (UNR). 2020 London Marathon
The 2020 London Marathon was the 40th running of the annual marathon race in London, United Kingdom, which took place on 4 October 2020. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the race was postponed from 26 April and only allowed elite participants; the mass participation event was cancelled. The event used a different course from usual, consisting of multiple laps around St James's Park. The men's elite race was won by Ethiopian Shura Kitata, and the women's event was won by Kenyan Brigid Kosgei. The men's wheelchair race was won by Canadian Brent Lakatos, and the women's event was won by Dutchwoman Nikita den Boer. The Granollers Half Marathon (Catalan: ''Mitja Marató de Granollers'') is an annual road running competition over the half marathon distance (21.097 km) which takes place in February in the city of Granollers in Catalonia, Spain. The race is organised by the ''Col·lectiu d'Atletes de Fons'' group and was first held in 1987. The course starts and finishes in Granollers and passes through Les Franqueses del Vallès and La Garriga.
