Général Dary is the 136th Military governor of Paris (french: Gouverneur militaire de Paris) from 1 August 2007 until 31 July 2012. Matera grew up in Bangkok, Thailand, and Angeles City, Philippines, as the son of a Voice of America foreign service officer.
