Darvell Huffman
Darvell Huffman (born May 5, 1967) is a former American football wide receiver in the National Football League (NFL) for the Indianapolis Colts. He played college football at Boston University and was drafted in the ninth round of the 1990 NFL Draft. Playing career College Prior to attending Boston he attended Newton South High School in Massachusetts where he was a stand out in football. He was a walk on at Boston University. Huffman was AP Honorable Mention All American at Boston University Professional Huffman played for the Indianapolis Colts, Canadian Football League and the Charlotte Rage of the Arena Football League. Cathedral High School (Indianapolis)
Cathedral High School is a private Catholic high school in Indianapolis, Indiana. The school serves approximately 1,200 students in grades 9 to 12. The school was founded in Archdiocese of Indianapolis by Bishop Joseph Chartrand in 1918 and was run by the Brothers of Holy Cross until it became independent by the late 1970s. Holy Cross returned to the school in 2011. History The school was founded as a boys high school by the Brothers of Holy Cross in 1918. In the 1970s, with the departure of the Brothers, a non-profit trust was developed by Robert V. Welch, other parents, and a lay board in an effort to keep Cathedral alive. As part of that change, the school moved from its longtime home in downtown Indianapolis to its present location at 56th and Emerson streets, the site of the former all-girls Ladywood St. Agnes Academy. The NFL Alumni Association is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that is composed of former National Football League (NFL) players, coaches, team staff members and associate members who work voluntarily to raise funds for youth-oriented causes and engage in hands-on service to foster the development of "youth through sports and sports through youth".
