Darryl Sims (born July 23, 1961 in Winston-Salem, North Carolina) is a former professional American football defensive tackle who played four seasons in the National Football League for the Pittsburgh Steelers (1985–1986) and the Cleveland Browns (1987–1988). The University of Wisconsin Oshkosh (UW Oshkosh or UW Osh) is a public university in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. It is part of the University of Wisconsin System and offers bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degree programs to nearly 14,000 students each year. A defensive tackle (DT) is a position in American football that will typically line up on the line of scrimmage, opposite one of the offensive guards, however he may also line up opposite one of the tackles. Defensive tackles are typically the largest and strongest of the defensive players.
