Darryl Hardy
Darryl Gerrod Hardy (born November 22, 1968) is a former American football linebacker in the National Football League for the Arizona Cardinals, Dallas Cowboys and Seattle Seahawks. He played college football at the University of Tennessee. Early years Hardy attended Princeton High School, where he played center on the offensive line as a freshman. The next year, he was moved to offensive tackle. As a senior, he was an All-state offensive guard (weighing 185 pounds). In his final game, he got the opportunity to start at outside linebacker, posting 15 tackles and 4.5 sacks. He accepted a football scholarship from the University of Tennessee to play linebacker. He became a starter at outside linebacker as a sophomore and registered 20 tackles (fourth in school history) against the University of Alabama. Linebacker (LB) is a playing position in gridiron football. Linebackers are members of the defensive team, and line up three to five yards behind the line of scrimmage and the defensive linemen. They are the "middle ground" of defenders, playing closer to the line of scrimmage than the defensive backs (secondary), but farther back than the defensive linemen. 1994 NFL Season
The 1994 NFL season was the 75th regular season of the National Football League. To honor the NFL's 75th season, a special anniversary logo was designed and each player wore a patch on their jerseys with this logo throughout the season. In sports, the practice squad, also called the taxi squad or practice roster, is a group of players signed by a team but not part of their main roster. Frequently used in gridiron football, they serve as extra players during the team's practices, often as part of the scout team by emulating an upcoming opponent's play style. The 1992 NFL draft was the procedure by which National Football League teams selected amateur college football players. It is officially known as the NFL Annual Player Selection Meeting. The draft was held April 26–27, 1992, at the Marriott Marquis in New York City, New York. The league also held a supplemental draft after the regular draft and before the regular season.
