Darren Ng
Darren Ng (; born 18 December 1983) is a Chinese-Australian former professional basketball player. Ng was known as one of the better three-point shooters in the National Basketball League (NBL). He decided to sit out the 2012–13 NBL season for family and career reasons, being a new father and a practising physician as a resident doctor at the Royal Adelaide Hospital (RAH). For the 2013–14 NBL season, Ng returned to the 36ers, not as a player but as the club doctor. Early life Ng is the oldest child of a practicing Adelaide GP. Both of his younger brothers have also finished medical school making a total of four fully qualified doctors in the Ng family. The Cairns Taipans are an Australian professional basketball team based in Cairns, Queensland. Adelaide Arena
Adelaide Arena (known commercially as Adelaide 36ers Arena) is a multipurpose indoor sports stadium located in Findon, an inner western suburb of Adelaide, South Australia. It is the former home arena for the Adelaide 36ers of the NBL and the current home arena of the Adelaide Lightning of the Women's National Basketball League (WNBL). Gold Coast Blaze
The Gold Coast Blaze were an Australian men's professional basketball team which competed in the National Basketball League (NBL). The Blaze competed in their inaugural season in 2007–08. The club was based on the Gold Coast and joined the Cairns Taipans, Townsville Crocodiles as the other two NBL clubs from Queensland. New Zealand Breakers
The New Zealand Breakers (also known as the Sky Sport Breakers for sponsorship reasons) are a New Zealand professional basketball team based in Auckland. Kirk Penney
Kirk Samuel Penney (born 23 November 1980) is a New Zealand professional basketball player. He played four years of college basketball for the Wisconsin Badgers between 1999 and 2003, where he was twice named first-team all-conference and an all-American. He became the second New Zealander in the NBA when he appeared briefly for the Miami Heat in 2003 and the Los Angeles Clippers in 2005, and went on to play professionally in Spain, the NBA Development League, Israel, Lithuania, Germany and Turkey.
