Darren Dilley
Darren Dilley (born March 7, 1967) is an American professional sports car racing driver and an elementary school physical education teacher. He last competed part-time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, driving the No. 38 Ford Mustang for RSS Racing. Early racing career In 1990, Darren and his dad, Bert, would start up Cheap Fast Racing, a Sports Car Club of America team. NASCAR On May 30, 2022, RSS Racing would announce that they had tapped Dilley to race the team's 38 car at Portland International Raceway for the 2022 Pacific Office Automation 147. Personal life Dilley currently works as an elementary PE teacher. Dilley graduated from Clackamas High School in 1985. In 2006, Dilley's house was destroyed in a fatal plane crash when pilot Robert E. Guilford crashed during an air show and crashed into a Hillsboro, Oregon, neighborhood. Hillsboro ( ) is the fifth-largest city in the U.S. state of Oregon and is the county seat of Washington County. Situated in the Tualatin Valley on the west side of the Portland metropolitan area, the city hosts many high-technology companies, such as Intel, locally known as the Silicon Forest. The 2022 ToyotaCare 250 was the seventh stock car race of the 2022 NASCAR Xfinity Series, the 35th iteration of the event, and the first race of the Dash 4 Cash. The race was held on Saturday, April 2, 2022, in Henrico County, Virginia at Richmond Raceway, a 0.75 mile (1.21 km) permanent D-shaped oval. The Dash 4 Cash in this race consisted of A. J. Allmendinger, Austin Hill, Noah Gragson, and Sam Mayer, after they finished in the top 5 at Circuit of the Americas. The race was run over 250 laps. Ty Gibbs of Joe Gibbs Racing would win the race after passing his teammate, John Hunter Nemechek, on the last lap. This was Gibbs' seventh career xfinity series win, and his third of the season. The New Holland 250 is a NASCAR Xfinity Series race that takes place at Michigan International Speedway. First held in 1992, the race was a event from its inception through 1999, and was extended to 250 miles starting with the 2000 race, it is held the day before the NASCAR Cup Series FireKeepers Casino 400. The 2007 Carfax 250 was the first-ever carbon neutral stock car event. Pennzoil 150
The Pennzoil 150 is a NASCAR Xfinity Series auto race held at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway since 2012. It takes place the Saturday of Kroger Super Weekend. This race replaced the Kroger 200, which had been held at the nearby Lucas Oil Raceway at Indianapolis, formerly known as Indianapolis Raceway Park, for the previous 30 years. Brad Keselowski won the inaugural event. For 2016, as part of the Xfinity "Dash for Cash" format, the race was 250 miles in total, but two 20-lap heat races, similar to the Can-Am Duel, was to be added to be run prior to the 60-lap main event. In 2017, the race would not continue the heat races and instead use the new stage format with stages 1 and 2 being 25 laps each, and stage 3 being 50 laps. The Ambetter Health 200 is a NASCAR Xfinity Series race held at New Hampshire Motor Speedway in Loudon, New Hampshire. When first held in 1990, the race was 300 laps. It was scaled back to 250 laps, the length of the former fall NHMS race, starting in 1993, and again to its current 200 laps in 1996. Until 2010, in 23 races held at NHMS, there had never been a repeat Xfinity Series winner, the longest such streak in any of NASCAR's national touring series. The Alsco Uniforms 250 is a NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Atlanta Motor Speedway in Hampton, Georgia. The race is one of two Xfinity Series races at Atlanta along with the Nalley Cars 250 in the spring.
