Darren Britt
Darren Britt (born 9 October 1969) is an Australian former rugby league footballer who played as a in the 1990s and 2000s. He played for Western Suburbs and the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs in the NRL. He also represented the Australian national side. Background Britt was born in Orange, New South Wales, Australia. Career Britt captained Canterbury in 92 first grade matches in 1996 and on a full-time basis during 1998-2001, second only to Terry Lamb who led them on 120 occasions. Britt played at prop forward and captained the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs in their loss at the 1998 NRL grand final to the Brisbane Broncos. Britt was selected for the Australian team to compete in the end of season 1999 Rugby League Tri-Nations tournament. The 2002 Super League Grand Final was the Fifth official Grand Final and conclusive and championship-deciding game of Super League VII. Held on Saturday 19 October 2002 at Old Trafford, Manchester, the game was played between St. Helens and Bradford Bulls. Refereed by Russell Smith, the match was seen by a crowd of 61,138 and was won by St Helens 19 - 18. The NRL Judiciary is the disciplinary judiciary of the National Rugby League (NRL), a rugby league competition. The Judiciary regulates the on-field conduct of players from NRL clubs. Due to changes announced on the eve of the 2022 NRL season, the NRL Judiciary is made up of former players who convene in two-man panels to rule on on-field incidents. The judiciary has been chaired by Supreme Court of NSW Justice Geoffrey Bellew since 2015. Bellew has the deciding vote should the panel's verdict not be unanimous. The Sydney Roosters are an Australian professional Rugby league, Rugby League Football Club based in the Eastern Suburbs (Sydney) and parts of inner Sydney. The club competes in the National Rugby League (NRL) competition. The Roosters have won fifteen New South Wales Rugby League premiership, New South Wales Rugby League (NSWRL) and National Rugby League titles, and several other competitions.
