Darko Planinić (born November 22, 1990) is a Croatian professional basketball player for CSO Voluntari of the Liga Națională. Standing at 2.11 m, he plays at the center position. Professional career Planinić spent the 2019-20 season with U BT Cluj-Napoca and averaged 15.9 points and 5 rebounds per game. He signed with Zadar on August 28, 2020. On November 29, 2020, he has signed with Cibona of the ABA League. On July 9, 2021, he has signed with Petkim Spor of the Turkish Basketball Super League. The center (C), or the centre, also known as the five or the pivot, is one of the five Basketball position, positions in a regulation basketball game. The ABA League, renamed to the ABA League First Division in 2017, is the 1st-tier regional men's professional basketball league that originally featured clubs from the former Yugoslavia (Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia and Slovenia). The Montenegrin Basketball Cup is an annual cup competition for Montenegrin basketball teams held since 2007.
