''Dark Regions Press'' is an independent specialty publisher of horror, dark fiction, fantasy and science fiction, specializing in horror and dark fiction in business since 1985 founded by Joe Morey. They have gained recognition around the world for their creative works in genre fiction and poetry. Dark Regions Press was awarded the Horror Writers Association 2010 Specialty Press Award and the Italian 2012 Black Spot Award for Excellence in a Foreign Publisher. Marge Baliff Simon (born 1942) is an American artist and a writer of speculative poetry and fiction. Biography Early life Marge Simon was born in Bethesda, Maryland, but grew up in Boulder, Colorado. Education and career She received her BA and MA degrees from the University of Northern Colorado, and then continued her studies at the Art Center College of Design. Deciding against a career as a commercial artist, she began working as an art teacher in elementary schools instead. Harry Shannon (songwriter)
Harry Shannon (born December 4, 1948) is an American novelist, songwriter and entertainer. He was born Harry Rivard Siebert in Reno, Nevada, to Dr. William L. Siebert and Belle Elizabeth (née) Cazier. He has a brother, Dwight W. Siebert, and a sister, Marsha Desiderio. Shannon was married from 1978 to 1988 to Swiss singer Suzanne Klee. In 1994 he married songwriter Wendy Kramer. They have one child, Paige Emerson Shannon, born 1999. Raised in Reno, Shannon moved to Pomona, California in the late 1950s, where he attended Ganesha High School. He was born in 1956 in Greenford, England, and educated at University College School, Hampstead, before going on to study law at Middlesex University. Although he has written science fiction, mystery, and even mainstream stories, he is principally an author of supernatural, dark fantasy, and horror fiction. Michael Diamond Resnick (; March 5, 1942 – January 9, 2020) was an American science fiction writer and editor. He won five Hugo awards and a Nebula award, and was the guest of honor at Chicon 7. He was the executive editor of the defunct magazine ''Jim Baen's Universe,'' and the creator and editor of ''Galaxy's Edge'' magazine. Biography Resnick was born in Chicago on March 5, 1942.
