''Dark Chambers of Déjà Vu'' is the second studio album by Czech melodic power metal band Sebastien, released in 2015 under German record label Pride & Joy Music. The album includes the collaboration of several renowned guest musicians, as Ailyn Gimenez (Sirenia), Martin "Marthus" Skaroupka (Cradle of Filth), Roland Grapow ( Masterplan), Tony Martin (ex-Black Sabbath) and Zak Stevens (ex-Savatage), among others. A special version of the album includes two bonus tracks, “Dorian” (song from their previous album) and "Headless Cross", (Black Sabbath cover) which are the live performances at Masters of Rock festival, recorded on 12 July 2014. Sebastien (band)
Sebastien is a Czech power metal band from Pardubice and Brno. The band was formed by Jiří "George" Rain in 2008. Biography Sebastien's origins date back to February 1999 and the band's first real line-up appears under the name Calypso in December 1999. Two years later, they changed their name to Navar and recorded their first studio album, titled ''Dark''. This was followed by a string of concerts, the recording of the single "Shine of Light", and finally the release of their second album, ''Commotion''. In the summer of 2004, the band returned to the studio again to record the EP ''Proti všem'' (Against all). In April 2006, they self-released a new album, titled ''1621''. Masterplan (band)
Masterplan is a German power metal band founded by guitarist Roland Grapow and drummer Uli Kusch upon leaving Helloween in 2001. History During Helloween's tour of their album ''The Dark Ride'' in 2001, members Roland Grapow and Uli Kusch (who had been in the band since 1989 and 1994, respectively) decided to form a side project. As the other Helloween members felt the two were more focused on their side project than Helloween at the time, both were later fired from the band. The name "Masterplan" was born out of the idea that they would be master musicians with the future in their hands, starting the newest power metal band of the new millennium. Zachary Trussell (born March 5, 1966), known professionally as Zachary "Zak" Stevens, is an American singer, best known as the second lead vocalist of the heavy metal band Savatage. He currently performs with the heavy metal band Circle II Circle. Stevens also has a degree in psychology but is not, as is often reported, a licensed, practicing psychologist. Masters Of Rock (festival)
Masters of Rock is a large heavy metal music festival in the Czech Republic. The main styles represented on this festival are power, speed and heavy metal, though the production tries to make the fest more open for other rock and metal styles, such as progressive rock/metal, hardcore, death metal or even ska. It takes place in Vizovice, Czech Republic and in the past has featured bands such as Tarja Turunen, Manowar, Sweet, Twisted Sister, HammerFall, Stratovarius, Helloween, Gamma Ray, Nightwish, Rhapsody of Fire, Kreator, Edguy, Rage, Apocalyptica, Within Temptation, Children of Bodom, Avantasia, Accept, Dream Theater, Sebastian Bach, Behemoth, Amon Amarth, Sabaton and many more. Savatage () was an American heavy metal band founded by brothers Jon and Criss Oliva in 1979 in Tarpon Springs, Florida. Anthony Philip Harford (born 19 April 1957), better known by his stage name Tony Martin, is an English heavy metal vocalist, best known for his time fronting Black Sabbath, initially from 1987 to 1991 and again from 1993 to 1997. Martin Marthus Škaroupka
Martin "Marthus" Škaroupka (born 20 January 1981) is a Czech extreme metal drummer. He is a member and songwriter in the British extreme metal band Cradle of Filth. Biography When he was 6, Škaroupka started attending piano and singing lessons at LŠU Brno until he was 13. Because there were no drums lessons at any of the music schools of that time available, he began to take private lessons from prof. Cupák (member of Janáček opera in Brno).
