Darjah Utama Seri Mahkota Negara
The Most Exalted Order of the Crown of the Realm ( ms, Darjah Utama Seri Mahkota Negara) is a Malaysian federal award. It is ranked lower than the Order of the Royal Family of Malaysia. It should not be confused with the Order of Loyalty to the Crown of Malaysia. Classes and recipients It has one rank and is conferred on 30 living recipients only at any time. It is conferred to the Queen of Malaysia and newly appointed Malay rulers in his state. Fifteen, out of the total, are conferred on foreign princes, foreign Heads of State and other distinguished individuals. It does not carry any title. Early life Tunku Ismail was born on 28 October 1894 at Istana Semayam, Johor Bahru and was the second and eldest surviving son of Tunku Ibrahim (later Sultan Ibrahim) by his first wife, Sultanah Ungku Maimunah binti Ungku Abdul Majid. Sultan Ibrahim ibni Almarhum Sultan Muhammad IV, , (9 October 1897 – 9 July 1960) was the Sultan of Kelantan from 1944 to 1960. He was born at Istana Balai Besar in Kota Bharu to Sultan Muhammad IV ibni Almarhum Sultan Muhammad III, Sultan of Kelantan and his wife, Sultanah Zainab binti Nik Wan Muhammad Amin. The Sultan of Perak (سلطان ڤيراق) is one of the oldest hereditary seats among the Malay states. When the Sultanate of Malacca empire fell to Portugal in 1511, Sultan Mahmud Syah I retreated to Kampar, Sumatra, and died there in 1528.
