Darius McGhee
Darius McGhee (born June 2, 1999) is an American professional basketball player for the Indiana Mad Ants of the NBA G League. He played college basketball for the Liberty Flames. High school career McGhee attended Roxboro Community School in Roxboro, North Carolina for three years. His sophomore season was cut short after he broke his arm. As a junior, McGhee emerged as one of the top scorers in the nation. He averaged 36.4 per game, leading the state in scoring, and became the first player in state history to score at least 1,000 points in a single season. McGhee transferred to Blue Ridge School in Saint George, Virginia and helped his team win the VISAA Division II state title. College career As a freshman at Liberty, McGhee averaged 7.8 points per game. He averaged 9.5 points and four rebounds per game as a sophomore. Liberty Flames
The Liberty Flames and Lady Flames are the athletics teams of Liberty University, in Lynchburg, Virginia, United States. They are a member of the NCAA Division I level in 20 sports. LU is a member of the ASUN Conference for most sports. Two sports that are not sponsored by the ASUN are housed elsewhere. Women's swimming competes in the Coastal Collegiate Sports Association. The field hockey team was a member of the Northern Pacific Field Hockey Conference before that league's demise after the 2014 season. The ''Richmond Free Press'' is an independent newspaper in Richmond, Virginia. Published on a weekly basis, it is mainly targeted at the city's African-American community and its poorest residents. The Centenary Gentlemen basketball team represents Centenary College, located in Shreveport, Louisiana, in NCAA Division III men's basketball competition. The "Gentlemen" nickname is exclusive to men's athletes and teams; ''Ladies'' is used for women's teams and athletes. The team is a member of the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference, which is part of the NCAA Division III. Willie Jackson (born June 22, 1962) is an American former college basketball stand-out and current high school head coach. Playing career High school Jackson grew up in Webster Parish, Louisiana and attended Sibley High School from 1976–77 to 1979–80. During his junior and senior years, Sibley won 100 straight games, including a perfect 58–0 season in 1979–80 which ended with a state championship. College Willie Jackson decided to stay in Louisiana and signed to play at Centenary College of Louisiana, an NCAA Division I institution. The Florida Gulf Coast Eagles men's basketball team is the men's basketball team that represents Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers, Florida, United States.
