Dario Župarić
Dario Župarić (; born 3 May 1992) is a Croatian professional footballer who plays as a defender for Portland Timbers in Major League Soccer. Club career Župarić was born in Županja and played youth football with Graničar Županja before starting his professional career with Cibalia. In June 2013, he was transferred to Pescara, for a club record €700,000. In January 2017, Župarić was loaned to Rijeka in Croatia initially until June 2018, but during the loan deal he signed a permanent contract with the club until June 2020. On 20 November 2019, Župarić joined Major League Soccer side Portland Timbers, but will stay in Rijeka on loan until the end of the year. International career Župarić won three caps with Bosnia and Herzegovina under-19. Županja
Županja (, hu, Zsupanya, german: Schaupanie) is a town in eastern Slavonia, Croatia, located 254 km east of Zagreb. It is administratively part of the Vukovar-Syrmia County. It is inhabited by 12,090 people (2011). Županja lies on the Sava river opposite Bosnia and Herzegovina, and is the site of a border-crossing bridge with the town of Orašje in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The 2010–11 Croatian First Football League (officially known as T-Com Prva HNL for sponsorship reasons) was the 20th season of the Croatian First Football League, the national championship for men's association football teams in Croatia, since its establishment in 1992. The Hrvatska nogometna liga () ( en, Croatian football league), also known as HNL or for sponsorship reasons the SuperSport HNL, is the top Croatian professional football league competition, established in 1992. Previously, it was called Prva Hrvatska nogometna liga (First Croatian Football League), but a league structure reorganization from 2022–23 led to name changes for the three top league levels. Overview The league was formed in 1991, following the dissolution of the Yugoslav First League, and is operated by the Croatian Football Federation. The Serie A (), also called Serie A TIM for national sponsorship with TIM, is a professional league competition for football clubs located at the top of the Italian football league system and the winner is awarded the Scudetto and the Coppa Campioni d'Italia. 2015–16 Serie B
The 2015–16 Serie B (known as the Serie B ConTe.it for sponsorship reasons) was the 84th season since its establishment in 1929. A total of 22 teams contested the league: 16 returning from the 2014–15 season, 4 promoted from Lega Pro, and 2 relegated from Serie A. Vacancies created by the bankruptcy of Serie A-relegated Parma and the demotion of Catania to Lega Pro due to match fixing allowed Brescia to remain in the league despite being relegated. Furthermore, Teramo was due to participate to Serie B but due to the allegations for match-fixing, the Courts decided to relegate Teramo in the last place of Lega Pro of the previous season. 2014–15 Serie B
The 2014–15 Serie B was the 83rd season since its establishment in 1929. A total of 22 teams contested the league: 14 of which returning from the 2013–14 season, 5 of which promoted from Prima Divisione, and three relegated from Serie A. The original concept was that due to Siena's exclusion because of financial issues and the fact such vacancy will not be filled in preparation of a future reduction to a league composed by 20 teams, this season featured 21 participant clubs instead of the usual 22. However, on 11 August 2014, Novara won an appeal and the league confirmed a 22nd team. On 29 August, the league chose Vicenza Calcio as the 22nd participant. The series have 42 weeks of play.
