Daria Dmitrievna Kachanova (russian: Дарья Дмитриевна Качанова; born 17 September 1997) is a Russian speed skater who specializes in the sprint distances. Career Kachanova won the 2015/2106 ISU Junior World Cup title at the 500 m event. In March 2016 she won the gold medal in the 500m at the 2016 World Junior Championships in Changchun, China. At the second competition weekend of the 2018–19 ISU Speed Skating World Cup she finished third in the second 500m event behind Nao Kodaira and Vanessa Herzog Vanessa Herzog (''née'' Bittner; born 4 July 1995) is an Austrian speed skater. International Skating Union
The International Skating Union (ISU) is the international governing body for competitive ice skating disciplines, including figure skating, synchronized skating, speed skating, and short track speed skating. Heerenveen (, fry, It Hearrenfean ) is a town and municipality in the province of Friesland (Fryslân), in the Northern Netherlands.
