Dare Devil Dive
''Dare Devil Dive'' is a steel roller coaster at Six Flags Over Georgia. Designed by German company Gerstlauer, ''Dare Devil Dive'' is based on the company's Euro-Fighter model, and features a -tall vertical lift hill, a 95° first drop, three inversions and a top speed of . It is also the first Euro-Fighter to debut a new lap-bar restraint system, replacing the more common over-the-shoulder harnesses. History First announced on September 1, 2010, ''Dare Devil Dive'' was placed in the park's USA section, which also includes the ''Goliath'' roller coaster. The park demolished its long-standing Drive-in theater building in the spring of 2010 and removed its indoor Eli Bridge Scrambler "Shake Rattle and Roll" in the fall of that year. Gerstlauer Euro-Fighter
The Euro-Fighter is a type of steel roller coaster developed by Gerstlauer. First launched in 2003, the trademark feature of the roller coaster is its beyond-vertical drop, which reaches an angle greater than 90 degrees. Although the majority of Euro-Fighters are custom designed for each installation, every design so far has included the trademark drop. A number of different track elements are possible, including Roller coaster elements#Vertical loop, vertical loops, Roller coaster elements#Dive loop, diving loops and barrel rolls. Almost all Euro-Fighter models have a vertical chain-driven lift hill, although Linear motor, LSM launch systems are also available. Alvey has ridden over 1400 coasters around the world, and has documented his travels and those of others on his website Theme Park Review. He has been featured on related documentaries for Discovery Channel, Travel Channel, and TLC. Career Alvey is best known as a roller coaster reviewer and aficionado. His Theme Park Review website was started in 1996 and became a site for coaster videos, photos, forums, and information about theme parks and roller coasters. As of 2012, the website sees over 2 million visitors a year and has more than 35,000 registered members. ''High Diving Hare'' is a 1948-produced Warner Brothers ''Looney Tunes'' theatrical cartoon short starring Bugs Bunny and Yosemite Sam. Released to theaters on April 30, 1949, the short is an expansion of a gag from ''Stage Door Cartoon'', which was also directed by Friz Freleng, and co-stars Elmer Fudd. ''High Diving Hare'' can be seen in the third act of ''The Looney Looney Looney Bugs Bunny Movie'', and a segment can be seen in the special ''Bugs Bunny's Wild World of Sports'' (the latter revealing that Sam has become a champion high diver due to his experiences in the short). Samsung Gear VR
The Samsung Gear VR is a virtual reality headset developed by Samsung Electronics, in collaboration with Oculus VR, and manufactured by Samsung. The headset was released on November 27, 2015. When in use, a compatible Samsung Galaxy device acts as the headset's display and processor, while the Gear VR unit itself acts as the controller, which contains the field of view, as well as a custom inertial measurement unit, or IMU, for rotational tracking, which connects to the smartphone via USB-C or micro-USB.
