Dapo Lam Adesina
Dapo Lam Adesina (; born 25 October 1978) is a Nigerian politician, who was a member of Nigeria's 8th House of Representatives. He is a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC). He represented Ibadan North East/South East Federal constituency of Oyo State between 2015–2019. He is currently the Special Assistant Political (South West) to the Speaker of the House of Representatives. Early life Dapo Lam Adesina was born on 25 October 1978. He began his basic education at Ayodele Nursery and Primary School in Ibadan, he attended the prestigious Government College Ibadan (GCI), he briefly studied Electrical and Electronics Engineering at The Polytechnic, Ibadan (Eruwa Campus), before moving to the premier University of Ibadan where he graduated from the Agricultural and Environmental Engineering department. All Progressives Congress
The All Progressives Congress (APC) is one of the two major contemporary political parties in Nigeria, along with the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). Founded on 6 February 2013 from a merger of Nigeria's three largest opposition parties, the party came to power following the victory of party candidate Muhammadu Buhari in the 2015 presidential election. This marked the first time in Nigerian history that an opposition party unseated a governing party and power was transferred peacefully. Lam Adesina
Lamidi Ona-Olapo Adesina (20 January 1939 – 11 November 2012) was a Nigerian politician and educator who became governor of Oyo State in Nigeria on 29 May 1999 after winning the 1999 Oyo State gubernatorial election as a member of the Alliance for Democracy (AD) party. Early life Adesina was born on 20 January 1939. He attended Loyola College, Ibadan. then studied at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka from 1961–1965 and obtained a BA (Hons) in History. Later he attended the University of Ibadan in 1971 and obtained a PGDE. Career Lam Adesina was an educator. He was a teacher at Lagelu Grammar School Ibadan where he taught History, English and Literature. Government College Ibadan (founded 28 February 1929) is a boys' secondary school located on the hills of Apata Ganga in Ibadan, Nigeria. History The founding fathers of Government College Ibadan were Selwyn MacGregor Grier, Director of Education, Southern Provinces, who conceived the idea of the school, and E. R. Senator Isiaka Abiola Adeyemi Ajimobi (16 December 1949 – 25 June 2020) was a Nigerian politician from Oyo State, south-western Nigeria. He was formerly the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of the National Oil and Chemical Marketing Company, a subsidiary of Shell Petroleum, Nigeria. He left the oil sector in 2002 after 26 years of meritorious service and was elected in 2003 as a Senator of the Republic of Nigeria representing Oyo South Senatorial District on the platform of the Alliance for Democracy (AD).
