Johann Traugott Leberecht Danz
Johann Traugott Leberecht Danz (31 May 1769 – 15 May 1851) was a German Lutheran theologian and church historian born in Weimar. In 1787 he began his studies at Jena, where he had as instructors, Johann Jakob Griesbach, Johann Christoph Döderlein and Johann Gottfried Eichhorn. In 1791 he continued his studies at the University of Göttingen, and afterwards returned to Weimar as a secondary school teacher. In 1809 he received his habilitation at Jena, and during the following year became an associate professor. From 1812 to 1838 he was a full professor of theology at the University of Jena. Among his efforts were editions of Plautus (1806–9, 3 parts) and Aeschylus (1805–8, 2 parts), as well as a new edition of Johann Georg Walch's ''Bibliotheca patristica''. He also published a two-volume textbook of church history (1816–26), and was editor of Johann Gottfried Herder's ''Ansichten des klassischen Alterthums'' (Views of Classical Antiquity 1805-6). Luise Danz
Luise Danz (11 December 1917 – 21 June 2009) was a Nazi concentration camps, Nazi concentration camp guard in World War II. She was born in Walldorf (Werra) in Thuringia. Danz was captured in 1945 and put on trial for crimes against humanity at the Auschwitz trial in Kraków, Poland. She was sentenced to life imprisonment in 1947, but released due to general amnesty on 20 August 1957. Camp work On January 24, 1943, at the age of 25, Danz was conscripted as an ''SS-Aufseherin'' within the Nazism, Nazi concentration camp system at Ravensbrück. She served as guard in several camps in occupied Poland, including Majdanek (1943-April 1944), Kraków-Płaszów (April 1944), Auschwitz-Birkenau (May 1944-January 1945) and Malchow concentration camp, Malchow (subcamp of Ravensbrück). In 1943, she received an award from Nazi Germany for her camp service. Danielle "Danz" Johnson (born February 20, 1989), known professionally as Danz CM and formerly Computer Magic, is an American musician and producer based in New York City. She is a singer, songwriter, composer, music producer, DJ, and the founder of the music project Synth History and the indie record label Channel 9 Records. She also composes music for commercials, especially for Japanese brands. From 2010 until mid 2020, Johnson used the moniker Computer Magic, a name derived from a quote by Viv Savage in ''This Is Spinal Tap'': "quite exciting this computer magic!".
