The ''Danuta'', also called ''Armoured Train Number 11'', was a Polish armoured train used by the Polish Army during the German invasion of Poland in September 1939. History The ''Danuta'' was built in PoznaÅ„ in 1919. In August 1920, the train participated in the Battle for Warsaw, as part of the Polish 1st Army. In 1924, the ''Danuta'' was assigned to the armoured train training unit located in JabÅ‚onna, Legionowo County. Like most other Polish armoured trains, the ''Danuta'' was modernised in the early 1930s by receiving a Ti3 type locomotive, additional guns and AA machine guns. Danuta Szaflarska (; 6 February 1915 – 19 February 2017) was a Polish film and stage actress. In 2008 she was awarded the ZÅ‚ota Kaczka for the best Polish actress of the century. Szaflarska participated in the Warsaw Uprising as a liaison. Danuta Kozák (; born 11 January 1987) is a Hungarian sprint canoeist. She has won one silver, one bronze and six Olympic gold medals, three of which in Rio de Janeiro in 2016, making her the only female to win K1, K2 and K4 at the same Olympics.
