Doncaster
Doncaster (, ) is a city in South Yorkshire, England. Named after the River Don, it is the administrative centre of the larger City of Doncaster. It is the second largest settlement in South Yorkshire after Sheffield. Doncaster is situated in the Don Valley on the western edge of the Humberhead Levels and east of the Pennines. At the 2021 census, the city had a population of 308,100, while its built-up area had a population of 158,141 at the 2011 census. Outwood Academy Danum (formerly Danum School Technology College, Danum Academy and Intake Secondary Modern) is an academy school serving the east of Doncaster, South Yorkshire, England. Danum is the Roman name for Doncaster. Admissions It is for ages 11–18. Turnstile Ridge () is a ridge about long, lying north of Westhaven Nunatak at the northwest extremity of the Britannia Range. Name Turnstile Ridge was so named by the Darwin Glacier Party (1957) of the Commonwealth Trans-Antarctic Expedition (CTAE) because snow passages resembling turnstiles occur throughout its length. Location Turnstile Ridge is south of the Darwin Névé and southwest of the Meteorite Hills of the Darwin Mountains. It is west of the head of the Hatherton Glacier, which forms the boundary between the Darwin Mountains and the Britannia Range, The Westhaven Nunatak is southwest of Turnstile Ridge. Haven Mountain and the Three Nunataks lie further to the south. Danum Valley Conservation Area
Danum Valley Conservation Area is a 438 square kilometres tract of relatively undisturbed lowland dipterocarp forest in Sabah, Malaysia. It has an extensive diversity of tropical flora and fauna, including such species as the rare Bornean orangutans, gibbons, mousedeer, clouded leopards and over 270 bird species. Activities offered are jungle treks, river swimming, bird watching, night jungle tours and excursions to nearby logging sites and timber mills. The area holds unique status in the sense that before it became a conservation area there were no human settlements within the area, meaning that hunting, logging and other human interference was non existent making the area almost unique. It is managed by Yayasan Sabah for conservation, research, education, and habitat restoration training purposes. There have been proposals to nominate the site as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Ot Danum People
Ot Danum (also known as Dohoi, Malahoi, Uud Danum or Uut Danum) people are a subethnicity of the Dayak people (hence also referred as Dayak Ot Danum) dwelling at the upper reaches of south Kapuas River, and along the Schwaner range, bordering West Kalimantan and Central Kalimantan, Indonesia. They are the most important group of the upper Melawi River and culturally and linguistically the most distinct from the Malay people. Besides, the Malay people, the Ot Danum people are also linguistically distinct from the Ngaju people who live along the middle reaches of Central Kalimantan's great rivers and who are numerically and linguistically the dominant Dayak people group in the area. Just like most Dayak people group, majority of the Ot Danum people also practice Kaharingan religion. The word ''Ot'' means people or upstream, while the word ''Danum'' means water.
