Danshuichi Station
Danshuichi () is a station on Line 1 of Wuhan Metro, opened upon completion of Line 1, Phase 2 on July 29, 2010. It is an elevated station at the intersection of Jiefang Avenue Jiefang, generally a spelling without tonemarks of Jiěfàng (), may refer to: *''Jiefang Daily'', newspaper of the Shanghai committee of the Chinese Communist Party * FAW Jiefang, a truck manufacturing company ** Jiefang CA-30, military truck * th ... and Handi Road. The name "Danshuichi" is derived from the dialectical pronunciation of "Duanshuichi" (端水吃, literally "Grab water to drink"). There are two side platforms and two tracks at Danshuichi. Station layout Facilities Danshuichi Station is a three-story elevated station built entirely along Jiefang Avenue. The station is equipped with attended customer service concierges, automatic ticket vending machines, accessible lifts, and restrooms in the fared zone. Jiang'an District
Jiang'an District () forms part of the urban core of and is one of 13 urban districts of the prefecture-level city of Wuhan, the capital of Hubei Province, China. Jiang'an District is located on the Yangtze's left (northwestern) shore, and includes the northeastern half of the former Hankou city (northeast, i.e. downstream, of Jianghan Rd.).
