Danny Pate
Danny Pate (born March 23, 1979) is an American retired professional cyclist, who competed professionally in road racing, cyclo-cross and mountain bike racing between 2000 and 2018 for the , Prime Alliance, , , , , and teams. Career Born in Colorado Springs, Colorado, Pate took his only professional victory at the 2007 Tour of Missouri, winning the penultimate stage. He made his first start at both the Giro d'Italia and the Tour de France in 2008. In the latter, he was part of the breakaway on the fifteenth stage with three other riders, and was still clear with Simon Gerrans and Egoi Martínez heading into the final kilometre of the stage, an uphill finish to Prato Nevoso in Italy. He was out-sprinted by Gerrans and Martínez, sitting up for a third-place stage finish. 2012 Critérium Du Dauphiné
The 2012 Critérium du Dauphiné was the sixty-fourth running of the Critérium du Dauphiné cycling stage race; a race rated as a World Tour event on the UCI calendar, the highest classification such an event can have. The race consisted of eight stages, beginning with a prologue in Grenoble on 3 June, and concluded in Châtel on 10 June. The race was organised by the Amaury Sport Organisation, the same group that organises the Tour de France. It was viewed as a great preparation for July's Tour de France, hence why a majority of the contenders for the general classification of the major tour participated in the Dauphiné. It featured mountainous stages as well as an individual time trial quite similar in length to those that awaited the riders in the Tour. The Colorado Classic is a four-stage cycling race that was first held in 2017. First organized with both men's and women's races, the men's race was discontinued after the 2018 edition; the Classic continues as a women-only event. The men's version of the race was designated as 2.HC The UCI 1.HC and UCI 2.HC are the second tier classification of road cycling races by the UCI, after the UCI World Tour (or its predecessor, the UCI ProTour). History In 1995 Australian Bill Mitchell, a keen cyclist and professor of economics at the University of Newcastle, created the website titled "Bill’s Cycling Racing Results and News" after finding there was a need for fast-breaking news and race results in English-speaking countries. Benevento (, , ; la, Beneventum) is a city and ''comune'' of Campania, Italy, capital of the province of Benevento, northeast of Naples. Félix Rafael Cárdenas Ravalo (born November 24, 1973 in Encino, Santander) is a Colombian former road bicycle racer, who competed both as an amateur and as a professional between 1995 and 2014. He previously rode for UCI Professional Continental team until the team's demise in 2009. In the 2001 Tour de France, Cardenas took one of the biggest victory of his career on the mountainous stage 12. Prato Nevoso (or Pratonevoso) is a ski resort, ski and holiday resort in northern Italy.
