Danny Logan
Danny Logan (born September 30, 1997) is an American professional lacrosse player who plays as a defensive midfielder for Atlas Lacrosse Club of the Premier Lacrosse League and as a defenseman for the San Diego Seals of the National Lacrosse League. Early life and career Logan was born in Columbus, Ohio to Whitney and Karen Logan. He grew up in Upper Arlington, Ohio, where he attended Upper Arlington High School, earning four varsity letters in hockey and lacrosse. In lacrosse, he was a two-time All-American and state champion, and was named Ohio Player of the Year as a senior in 2016. His family was athletic, with both grandfathers and an uncle, Jeff Logan, having played football for Ohio State. His paternal grandfather, Dick Logan, played in the NFL for the Green Bay Packers. Midfielder (lacrosse)
In men's field lacrosse, midfielders (also known as middies or the middy) clear the ball during the game. Midfielders do most of the running out of all the players, as they are allowed to cross the middle line (unlike other players) and play as attack and defence. Rules There are only 3 midfielders allowed on the field at one time by each team. They are allowed to cross the midline, unlike the attackmen and defenders. The only time they are not allowed to have 3 midfielders on the field is if there is a penalty. If there is one penalty on one player, then there can only be two midfielders on the team. If there are two people in the penalty box because these two people both got penalties, then there can only be one midfielder on the field at the time. Midfielders are allowed to substitute throughout the game at any time through a certain area on the sideline in between both benches of the teams. Trevor Baptiste (born July 3, 1996) is an American professional lacrosse player who is a face-off specialist for the Atlas Lacrosse Club of the Premier Lacrosse League and currently for the Philadelphia Wings of the National Lacrosse League. He attended the University of Denver, where he set the NCAA Division I season record for face-off wins by a freshman. During the 2015 regular season, Baptiste led all of college lacrosse in face-off win percentage (72%). He also set the Pioneers' school record for face-off wins during a season. Field lacrosse is a full contact outdoor men's sport played with ten players on each team. The sport originated among Native Americans, and the modern rules of field lacrosse were initially codified by Canadian William George Beers in 1867. Field lacrosse is one of three major versions of lacrosse played internationally. The rules of men's lacrosse differ significantly from women's field lacrosse (established in the 1890s). United States Men's National Lacrosse Team
The United States men's national lacrosse team has won ten of thirteen World Lacrosse Championships, the most recent in 2018. Judson Campbell Logan (July 19, 1959 – January 3, 2022) was an American Athletics (sport), athlete. He won a gold medal in the hammer throw at the 1987 Pan American Games in Indianapolis. Logan competed in four Summer Olympic Games, Summer Olympics, starting in 1984. His best finish was 13th in the qualifying round in 1984. Biography Logan had bests of 49-11 (SP) and 171-11 (DT) in high school, but did not qualify for the state meet. He is quoted of saying, "And I made it to four Olympics.
