Danilo Rea
Danilo Rea (born 9 August 1957) is an Italian jazz pianist. He is a graduate of the Santa Cecilia music conservatory in Rome. Riccardo Cocciante (; born 20 February 1946), also known in French-speaking countries and the U.S. as Richard Cocciante (), is an Italian singer, composer, theatre man and musician. He acquired French citizenship. Personal life Cocciante was born on 20 February 1946 in Saigon, French Indochina, now Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, to an Italian father from Rocca di Mezzo, L'Aquila, and a French mother. At the age of 11, he moved to Rome, Italy, where he attended the Lycée français Chateaubriand. He has also lived in France, the United States, and Ireland. ''Mina Celentano'' is a duet album by Italy's chart-topping artists Mina and Adriano Celentano, issued in 1998. Lucio Battisti was initially attached to the project but he eventually dropped out. The album was recorded in Galbiate and Lugano and was produced by Massimiliano Pani. ''Mina Celentano'' became one of the best-selling albums in Italy, with over 2 million copies sold. ''Cremona'' is a studio album by Italian singer Mina, released on 18 September 1996 by PDU. Overview For the first time in almost twenty years, the singer released an album consisting of only one disc; previously, Mina's albums were released in two parts: the first consisted of cover versions, and the second contained original tracks, this album consists entirely of new songs. The name of the album ''Cremona'' is a reference to the city of Cremona, where the singer spent her childhood. When making the album, photos of Mina in a Versace outfit posing against the background of night Cremona were used. Fiorella Mannoia (; born 4 April 1954) is an Italian singer and songwriter. Biography The Beginning Fiorella Mannoia's father Luigi was an Italian film stuntman, and Fiorella, her brother Maurizio and sister Patrizia began work in this area as children. Fiorella Mannoia's first film role as a stuntwoman was at the age of 13 in the film '' Non cantare, spara!'' ("Don't Sing, Shoot!") (1968). Gino Paoli
Gino Paoli (; born 23 September 1934 in Monfalcone) is an Italian singer-songwriter. He is a seminal figure who has written a number of songs widely regarded as classics in Italian popular music, including: " Il cielo in una stanza", "Che cosa c'è", " Senza fine", "Quattro amici al bar" and " Sapore di sale". Biography Paoli was born in Monfalcone, a little town near Trieste, but moved to Genoa at a young age. After several different jobs, he was signed to Ricordi with friends and fellow musicians Luigi Tenco and Bruno Lauzi. Flavio Boltro
Flavio Boltro (born May 5, 1961) is an Italian trumpet and flugelhorn jazz player. Career Flavio Boltro started playing trumpet at age nine and then entered the Turin school of Classical Music "G.Verdi". During his seven years at the school, he studied classical trumpet, especially with Carlo Arfinengo, trumpet player of Turin's Symphonic Orchestra From 1982 to 1985, he played regularly with Turin's Symphonic Orchestra and the RAI Symphonic Orchestra (Italian TV network). He began these first jazz gigs with Steve Grossman, Cedar Walton and Billy Higgins in several clubs and major festivals. Maria Pia De Vito is an Italian jazz singer, composer, and arranger. Career A native of Naples, Italy, she studied classical music, opera, and Italian folk music. In 1976 she performed folk songs as a singer, guitarist, and pianist.
