Danijel Riđić (born 9 December 1962) is a former Bosnian national team handball player and current coach. He is currently coach of RK Vogošća Poljine Hills. From 2009 to 2011 he was assistant coach to Irfan Smajlagić in RK Bosna Sarajevo. Zavidovići ( sr-cyrl, Завидовићи) is a town and municipality located in Zenica-Doboj Canton of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, an entity of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Mateo Hrvatin (born 15 August 1980 in Rijeka) is a former Croatian team handball, handballer, who played as left winger for RK Zamet, RK Zagreb, CO Zagreb and RK Crikvenica. He was selected by the Croatia men's national handball team, Croatian national team for the 2009 World Men's Handball Championship. Early life Mateo Hrvatin was born 15 August 1980 in Rijeka where he grew up. Hrvatin started playing handball in Rijeka at local club RK Kvarner. At Kvarner he passed various youth selections before playing at the senior level. Career He started his senior career at club RK Pećine which at the time was in the First B League. The Croatian Handball Premier League ( hr, Hrvatska rukometna premijer liga) is the highest men's handball league in Croatia. It is organized by the Croatian Handball Federation (''Hrvatski rukometni savez''). The league comprises 16 teams. The league was formed in 1991 with the dissolution of the Yugoslav leagues. Format In the first phase, eight teams from two groups compete in a home-and-away round-robin series. All teams advance from the regular season to one of two postseason stages, depending on their league position. The top four teams from the regular season play in the Championship Round, while the bottom four teams play in the Relegation Round. At the end of the season, the bottom finisher is automatically relegated to the second league. Irfan "Pipe" Smajlagić (born 16 October 1961) is a Bosnian-born Croatian former handball player and current coach, who competed in the 1988 Summer Olympics for Yugoslavia and in the 1996 Summer Olympics for Croatia. In 1988 he was part of the Yugoslav national team, which won the bronze medal at the 1988 Olympics. He played five matches and scored 14 goals. Eight years later he won the gold medal with the Croatian national team at the 1996 Olympics. He played six matches including the final and scored 31 goals.
