Daniele Tirabassi
Daniele Tirabassi (born August 16, 1988) is a Venezuelan swimmer, who specialized in long-distance freestyle events. He represented his nation Venezuela at the 2008 Summer Olympics, and has also won a career total of five medals (two golds, one silver, and two bronze) in a major international competition, spanning two editions of the South American Games and the 2010 Central American and Caribbean Games. Tirabassi also holds multiple Venezuelan championship titles and national records in both the long-distance freestyle (200 and 400 m), and freestyle relay events. Tirabassi competed for Venezuela in the men's 400 m freestyle at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing. He fired off a powerful 3:52.69 to win handily over the rest of the competition and dip beneath the FINA B-standard (3:58.00) at the Latin Cup in Serravalle, San Marino. Serravalle is a ''castello'' in northern San Marino. Genaro Matias Prono Britez (born April 29, 1989) is a Paraguayan swimmer, who specialized in breaststroke events. Prono is a member of the swimming team for Auburn Tigers, and a graduate of marketing at Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama. He is also a resident athlete of the Pine Crest Swim Team in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where he trained with numerous world-class swimmers, including three-time Olympian Bradley Ally of Barbados, and freestyle specialist Daniele Tirabassi of Venezuela. Bradley Ally
Bradley Kevin Ally (born December 11, 1986) is a three-time Olympic swimmer from Barbados. He represented Barbados at the Barbados at the 2004 Summer Olympics, 2004, 2008 Summer Olympics, 2008 and 2012 Summer Olympics. He was the bronze medalist in the 200-meter individual medley at the Pan-American Games in Brazil 2007. He holds the List of Barbadian records in swimming, Barbadian Record in the butterfly and individual medley events, as well as the 200-meter freestyle. Ally was born in Barbados in 1986. Ally received an athletic scholarship to attend the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida, where he swam for coach Gregg Troy's Florida Gators swimming and diving team in National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) competition from 2007 to 2010. 2011 Pan American Games
The 2011 Pan American Games, officially the XVI Pan American Games, was an international multi-sport event that was held from October 14–30, 2011, in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. Some events were held in the nearby cities of Ciudad Guzmán, Puerto Vallarta, Lagos de Moreno and Tapalpa. The Swimming portion of the 13th FINA World Aquatics Championships was held at the Foro Italico sports complex in Rome, Italy from Sunday 26 July – Sunday 2 August 2009. It featured 40 long course (50m) events (20 for males, 20 for females; 17 individual events and 3 relays for each gender).
