Daniele Sciaudone
Daniele Sciaudone (born 10 August 1988) is an Italian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Serie D club Fidelis Andria. Club career Born in Bergamo, Sciaudone finished his youth formation with local Tritium, making his senior debuts with the side in Serie D. In 2007, he joined Taranto in Serie C1. In August 2009 Sciaudone joined fellow third-divisioner Foligno. After two years as a starter he returned to Foligno, playing a key part for the side who finished second but was relegated, however. On 4 July 2012 Sciaudone moved to Serie B side Bari. On 25 August he made his division debut, coming on as a second-half substitute in a 2–1 home success over Cittadella; he scored his first goal came on 27 October, netting his side's only in a 1–1 draw at Padova. Vacancies created by the bankruptcy of Serie A-relegated Parma and the demotion of Catania to Lega Pro due to match fixing allowed Brescia to remain in the league despite being relegated. Furthermore, Teramo was due to participate to Serie B but due to the allegations for match-fixing, the Courts decided to relegate Teramo in the last place of Lega Pro of the previous season. 2014–15 Serie B
The 2014–15 Serie B was the 83rd season since its establishment in 1929. A total of 22 teams contested the league: 14 of which returning from the 2013–14 season, 5 of which promoted from Prima Divisione, and three relegated from Serie A. The original concept was that due to Siena's exclusion because of financial issues and the fact such vacancy will not be filled in preparation of a future reduction to a league composed by 20 teams, this season featured 21 participant clubs instead of the usual 22. However, on 11 August 2014, Novara won an appeal and the league confirmed a 22nd team. On 29 August, the league chose Vicenza Calcio as the 22nd participant. The series have 42 weeks of play. Lega Pro Prima Divisione
Lega Pro Prima Divisione was the third highest football league in Italy. It consisted of 33 teams, divided geographically into two divisions of 16 and 17 teams for group A and B respectively. Until 2008 it was known as Serie C1. Before the 1978–79 season there were only three leagues of professional football in Italy, the third being Serie C. In 1978, it was decided to split Serie C into Serie C1 and Serie C2. Serie C2, the fourth highest professional league in the Italian system, was also renamed in 2008 and was called Lega Pro Seconda Divisione.
