Daniel Tschofenig
Daniel Tschofenig (born 28 March 2002) is a ski jumper from Austria. Tschofenig's debut in the FIS Ski Jumping World Cup took place in January 2021 in Bischofshofen. , he has ten podiums in the World Cup, four individual and six with the Austrian team. He also finished 3rd at the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships 2023 – Men's team large hill. Junior career Tschofenig participated at the 2021 Junior World Championships in Lahti, Finland and finished at the fourth place in individual normall hill competition, and won the gold medal at the team event. Next year Tschofenig won 3 gold medals (individual, team and mixed team) at the 2022 Junior World Championships in Zakopane, Poland. Michael Hayböck
Michael "Michi" Hayböck (; born 5 March 1991) is an Austrian ski jumper. Career He took his first World Cup win on 6 January 2015 in Bischofshofen in the final event of the Four Hills Tournament 2014/15. He is a junior world champion from Hinterzarten 2010. Hayböck competed for Austria in both individual men's ski jumping events at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia. He qualified for the finals in both events and placed 5th in the normal hill competition and 8th in the large hill. Then as part of the Austrian team along with Thomas Morgenstern, Thomas Diethart and Gregor Schlierenzauer he took a silver in the team large hill competition at the same games. At the Nordic World Ski Championships 2017 in Lahti, he won together with Stefan Kraft, Daniela Iraschko-Stolz, and Jacqueline Seifriedsberger the silver medal in the mixed team competition. Wielka Krokiew
Wielka Krokiew (''The Great Krokiew'', in Polish ''krokiew'' means ''rafter'') is the biggest ski jumping hill built on the slope of Krokiew mountain (1378 m) in Zakopane, Poland. It was opened in 1925. Since 1989 the hills bears the official name Wielka Krokiew im. Stanisława Marusarza. It is a regular venue in the FIS Ski jumping World Cup. The capacity of the ski jumping stadium is 40,001. The hill was featured in competitions at the 1939 and 1962 FIS Nordic World Ski Championships as well as the 2001 Universiade. In 1997, Pope John Paul II, while visiting his native country, celebrated a mass at the hill's stadium. Since 2001, due to the success of Polish jumper Adam Małysz, Wielka Krokiew has seen some of the largest audiences in World Cup ski jumping history. 2023–24 FIS Ski Jumping World Cup
The 2023–24 FIS Ski Jumping World Cup, organized by the International Ski Federation (FIS), was the 45th FIS Ski Jumping World Cup, World Cup season in ski jumping for men, the 27th season in ski flying, and the 13th season for women. The men's season started on 25 November 2023 in Kuusamo, Ruka, Finland and concluded on 24 March 2024 in Planica, Slovenia. The women's season started on 2 December 2023 in Lillehammer, Norway and concluded on 21 March 2024, also in Planica. The men's season took a break in January due to the FIS Ski Flying World Championships, Ski Flying Championships in Bad Mitterndorf. Halvor Egner Granerud (men's) and Eva Pinkelnig (women's) were the reigning champions from the 2022–23 FIS Ski Jumping World Cup, previous season, but they did not defend the title.
