Bauchi (earlier Yakoba) is a city in northeast Nigeria, the Administrative center of Bauchi State, of the Bauchi Local Government Area within that State, and of the traditional Bauchi Emirate. The Bwatiye people which are mostly refer to as Bachama are a set of people that can be found in Numan, Demsa and Lamurde Local Governments in the Southern part of Adamawa State and in some part of the Cameroons Republic. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri (born October 27, 1967) is a Nigerian politician and the current Governor of Adamawa State. He was a member of the Adamawa State House of Assembly and was appointed the Speaker of the House. The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) is a federal law enforcement agency in Nigeria under the Federal Ministry of Justice charged with eliminating the growing, processing, manufacturing, selling, exporting, and trafficking of hard drugs. Lamurde is a town and Local Government Area of Adamawa State, Nigeria inhabited predominantly by the Bwatiye (Bachama) people.
