Daniel Rosenbaum
Daniel Rosenbaum (; born February 11, 1997) is an American-Israeli basketball player for Maccabi Ironi Ramat Gan in the Israeli National League. He plays the guard position. Biography Rosenbaum is 195 cm (6' 5") tall. He was born in Los Altos Hills, California. Rosenbaum attended Los Altos High School ('15). His brother Simon Rosenbaum is a baseball player for the Israel National Baseball Team. He played for the Eagles basketball team, and was All-League First-Team, All-''Daily New''s First-Team, and All-''Mercury News'' Second-Team. Rosenbaum attended Pomona College majoring in Computer Science, and played for the Pomona-Pitzer Sagehens ('19). In 2015-16 he averaged 16.4 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game. The Israel national baseball team ( he, נבחרת ישראל בבייסבול) represents Israel in international competitions. It is managed by Israeli-American former Major League Baseball World Series champion, World Baseball Classic champion, All Star, and Olympian Ian Kinsler. At the 2017 WBC, Team Israel came in 6th. The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC), headquartered in Kansas City, Missouri, is an American organization of men's college basketball coaches. It was founded in 1927 by Phog Allen, head men's basketball coach at the University of Kansas. Formation of the NABC began when Joint Basketball Rules Committee, then the central governing authority of the game, announced without notice that it had adopted a change in the rules which virtually eliminated dribbling. Allen, a student of basketball founder James Naismith, organized a nationwide protest which ultimately resulted in the dribble remaining part of the game. In 1939, the NABC held the first national basketball tournament in Evanston, Illinois at the Northwestern Fieldhouse. Oregon defeated Ohio State for the first tournament championship. College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) is an organization that focuses on professional development and support for sports information directors at all levels. It offers awards, scholarships, and grants in support of SIDs and prospective SIDs in the industry. Pomona-Pitzer Sagehens is the joint athletics program for Pomona College and Pitzer College, two of the Claremont Colleges. Simon Rosenbaum (סימון רוזנבאום; born December 28, 1993) is an American-Israeli baseball first baseman. He plays for the Israel National Baseball Team. He played for Team Israel at the 2019 European Baseball Championship. He also played for the team at the Africa/Europe 2020 Olympic Qualification tournament in Italy in September 2019, which Israel won to qualify to play baseball at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo. In the sport of basketball, there are five players play per team, each assigned to positions. Historically, these players have been assigned, to positions defined by the role they play on the court, from a strategic point of view. The three main positions are guard, forward, and center, with the standard team featuring two guards, two forwards, and a center.
