Daniel McCutchen
Daniel Thomas McCutchen (born September 26, 1982) is an American former professional baseball pitcher. He played in Major League Baseball for the Pittsburgh Pirates and the Texas Rangers (baseball), Texas Rangers. Amateur career McCutchen attended Norman High School in Norman, Oklahoma. He then attended the University of Central Oklahoma and Grayson County College before being selected by the New York Yankees in the 13th round of the 2006 Major League Baseball Draft. However, McCutchen chose to attend the University of Oklahoma. His first appearance for Oklahoma was February 21, 2004 against Southeast Missouri State University. He was drafted by the Tampa Bay Devil Rays in the 29th round of the 2004 Major League Baseball Draft, but did not sign. In 2005, McCutchen pitched 84 innings and led the Sooners with 84 strikeouts. The 2011 Pittsburgh Pirates season was the franchise's 125th season as a member of the National League (baseball), National League and List of Pittsburgh Pirates seasons, 130th season overall. This was their 11th season at PNC Park. The season was the first with manager Clint Hurdle, who was hired to replace the fired John Russell (catcher), John Russell. Robert Andrew Stubbs (born October 4, 1984) is an American former professional baseball outfielder. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Cincinnati Reds, Cleveland Indians, Colorado Rockies, Atlanta Braves, Texas Rangers, Baltimore Orioles and the San Francisco Giants. Jeffrey Wayne Karstens (born September 24, 1982) is a former right-handed starting pitcher in Major League Baseball (MLB). Karstens pitched for the New York Yankees in 2006 and 2007 and the Pittsburgh Pirates from 2008 to 2012. Yarmouth–Dennis Red Sox
The Yarmouth–Dennis Red Sox, or Y-D Red Sox, are a collegiate summer baseball team based in South Yarmouth, Massachusetts. The team is a member of the Cape Cod Baseball League (CCBL) and plays in the league's East Division. The Red Sox play their home games at Red Wilson Field on the campus of Dennis-Yarmouth Regional High School.
