Daniel Horner
Daniel Horner is an American sport shooter and firearms instructor who placed fourth in the Production division at the 2008 IPSC Handgun World Shoot. He shoots varied action shooting competitions with an emphasis on multigun, and is a 10-time USPSA Multigun Champion in the Tactical division (2007, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018). Horner competed for the U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit from 2005 to 2018, when he joined Team SIG Sauer. Josh Froelich is an American competition shooter who took gold at the 2018 IPSC Shotgun World Shoot in the Open division. Max Michel
Maxient John Jr. Michel (born 15 December 1981) is an action shooting competitor from the US. He became IPSC Handgun World Champion in the Open division in 2014. He is also the only seven-time winner of the Steel Challenge World Speed Shooting Championships and the only competitor to win it 4 times in a row (2005, 2007, 2009, 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016). Max began shooting when he was just 5 years old, and has served in the U.S. Army for 10 years (1999 - 2009) as a shooter and trainer. International Defensive Pistol Association
The International Defensive Pistol Association (IDPA), founded in 1996, is an organization based in Bogata, Texas, that has created a shooting sport based on defensive pistol techniques, using equipment including full-charge service ammunition to solve simulated "real world" self-defense scenarios. Shooters competing in defensive pistol events are required to use practical handguns and holsters that are deemed suitable for self-defense use and concealment garment that can conceal the handgun from view of bystanders. 3-Gun Nation
3-Gun Nation (3GN) was a sports league, club series, membership organization and television program featuring 3-Gun shooting in general as well as the 3-Gun Nation Pro Series tournaments. The winner of the yearly tournament was crowned as the 3-Gun Nation champion and won a $50,000 grand prize. For several years 3GN was able to provide $50,000 for the overall winner, $10,000 for second place and $5,000 for 3rd. It also developed the Ladies Pro circuit which offered a $25,000 grand prize. For several consecutive years 3GN awarded over $90,000 in cash prizes at its championship events. During its tenure, 3GN provided over $650,000 in prize money to the competition shooting community. USPSA Multigun Nationals
The USPSA Multigun Championship, formerly called the 3-Gun Nationals, are yearly multigun championships held by the United States Practical Shooting Association (USPSA). The Multigun Championship is always held at a separate range and date from the pistol nationals USPSA Handgun Championship and IPSC US Handgun Championship. Multigun
Multigun, Multi Gun or Multi-Gun, often also called 2-Gun or 3-Gun depending on the types of firearms used, are practical shooting events where each of the stages require the competitor to use a combination of handguns, rifles, and/or shotguns Multigun has a lot in common with ordinary IPSC/ USPSA single gun matches, and matches generally have courses of fire where the shooter must move through different stages and engage targets in a variety of different positions. Multigun in its oldest form is arranged by the International Practical Shooting Confederation (IPSC) as Tournaments, but doesn't require the competitor to transition between firearms during the stage.
