Daniel Hernández Morillo
Daniel Hernández Morillo (1 August 1856, Salcabamba – 23 October 1932, Lima) was a Peruvian painter in the Academic style who spent most of his working life in Paris. He also served as the first Director of the Escuela Nacional de Bellas Artes. Biography His mother was Peruvian and his father was from Spain. He was brought to Lima at the age of four and began his artistic education at fourteen, in the studios of Italian-born Leonardo Barbieri, who had worked as a portrait painter and daguerrotypist in California during the Gold Rush. Later, when Barbieri had left Lima, Hernández took over his art classes. In 1872, he painted a version of the " Death of Socrates" that won him recognition from the government of President Manuel Pardo, and a grant that enabled him to study in Europe. He left Peru in 1874. After his arrival in Paris, he met his fellow Peruvian, Ignacio Merino, who advised him to study in Rome instead. He did so, and remained there for nine years, working w ...

Tangerine Circus is a Mexican progressive rock band from Mexico City, Mexico. They evolved from a metal-oriented style in their early years, to become one of Mexico's most promising progressive acts of the 2010s. History Origins (2006–2009) Keyboardist Eduardo Mariné, drummer Daniel Hernández and bassist Luis Mauricio Sánchez met in middle school in 2005, starting a friendship in a short period of time. Daniel Ordóñez Hernández (born 13 June 1968) is a Mexican lawyer and politician affiliated with the Party of the Democratic Revolution. He represents the 13th federal district of Mexico City as a deputy in the LXIII Legislature of the Mexican Congress. Life As he worked toward his law degree from the UNAM, which he obtained in 1993, Ordóñez served as a legal advisor to the PRD faction in the LV Legislature (1991–94) and again during the LVII Legislature (1997-2000). Daniel Hernández was a Mexican tennis player active in the 1930s. Between 1935 and 1939, Hernández appeared in six Davis Cup ties for Mexico. He competed twice against top American player Don Budge and won his only two singles rubbers in his debut tie against Cuba.
