} Daniel Dvoress (born July 12, 1988) is a Canadian professional poker player. He is one of the top live poker earners from Canada. Career Dvoress was born in the Soviet Union and emigrated to Canada at the age of 8. He began playing poker in high school. He started playing online poker in November 2006 under the nicknames "Oxota" on PokerStars and "Oxotaments" on Full Tilt Poker. He turned professional after college mainly focusing on online poker. In May 2014, Dvoress won the PokerStars Spring Championship of Online Poker and receiving US$400,000 US dollars in the process. He has online tournament winnings exceeding $2.6 million. Dvoress prefers to stay out of the spotlight and is "Vegas-averse". Full Tilt Poker is an Irish online poker card room and online casino that opened in June 2004. Formerly privately owned by Tiltware, LLC and later by the Rational Entertainment Group, the site was acquired by The Stars Group (then known as Amaya Gaming Group) in a deal where Amaya acquired all of Rational's assets, including PokerStars. The Super High Roller Bowl is a recurring high stakes No-Limit Hold'em poker tournament that takes place at venues across the world. The first edition of the event was held in July 2015 and featured a $500,000 buy-in, drawing a field of 43 players. Brian Rast won the inaugural tournament, earning $7,525,000. For its second year, the tournament was moved to May and the buy-in was lowered to $300,000. Entries increased to 49 and Rainer Kempe captured the first prize of $5,000,000. 2020 World Series Of Poker Online
The 2020 World Series of Poker Online was a series of online poker tournaments organized by the World Series of Poker (WSOP). It was held from July 1-September 8 and featured 85 bracelet events, 31 on WSOP.com and 54 on GGPoker. In June, the WSOP announced the series as a result of postponing the 2020 WSOP in Las Vegas, Nevada due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Events included the $50 Big 50, the lowest buy-in WSOP event in history, as well as four People's Choice tournaments that allowed players to vote on which game to play. The series culminated in the $5,000 No Limit Hold'em Main Event beginning on August 16 with a $25 million guaranteed prize pool, the largest in online poker history. Phil Galfond (born January 16, 1985) is an American professional poker player. Galfond won three World Series of Poker bracelets, in the $5,000 buy-in pot-limit Omaha with rebuys event in 2008, the $10,000 no-limit 2-7 single draw championship in 2015 and the $10,000 Pot Limit Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better Championship in 2018. Due to his success as a high-stakes online player, he appeared on multiple seasons of GSN's ''High Stakes Poker''.
