Daniel Danielis
Daniel Danielis (Visé near Liège 1635- Vannes 1696) was a Belgian composer. He studied at Maastricht and was organist at Saint Lambert's Church. Between 1661 and 1681 he served as ''Kapellmeister'' at the court of Mecklenburg-Güstrow. In 1684 he became ''maître de musique'' at Vannes Cathedral. Works, editions and recordings Surviving works include 72 ''petits motets,'' several of them preserved by composer and collector Sébastien de Brossard, another 12 in a collection by Philidor. 54 of these motets are for 1 or 2 voices. Visé
Visé (; nl, Wezet, ; wa, Vizé) is a city and municipality of Wallonia, located on the river Meuse in the province of Liège, Belgium. The municipality consists of the following districts: Argenteau, Cheratte, Lanaye, Lixhe, Richelle, and Visé. In the north-east (on the eastern bank of the Meuse) the area of the municipality extends up to the village of Moelingen in the Limburgian municipality of Voeren, while in the north-west (on the western bank of the Meuse) it extends up to the border between Belgium and the Netherlands (on the other side of which the Dutch municipality of Maastricht is situated). The city of Visé is located in a distance of some 20 km (12,4 miles) north eastern of Belgian Liège city and of some 15 km (9,3 miles) southern of the most southern Dutch city of Maastricht. Koch Schwann
Schwann was a German classical music record label based in Düsseldorf and originally connected with the Verlag Schwann publishing house. One of the first records in 1962 was an LP of musical examples to accompany a book on medieval music. The book publishing business of Verlag Schwann is now part of Cornelsen Verlag. The record company made a number of recordings in cooperation with Abbot Carl de Nys, and the Schwann Musica Mundi series with Musique en Wallonie.
