Daniel Conahan
Daniel Owen Conahan Jr. (born May 11, 1954) is a convicted American murderer, rapist, and suspected serial killer. Conahan was convicted of one murder, but has been linked to a dozen murders, mostly of transients seeking employment and gay men in the Charlotte County, Florida area in what came to be known as the Hog Trail Murders. Early life and career Conahan was born in Charlotte, North Carolina, and moved with his family to Punta Gorda, Florida, shortly after birth. When he was a teenager, he discovered he was homosexual; this displeased his parents, who sent him to several psychiatrists. He graduated Miami Norland High School in 1973 and joined the United States Navy in 1977, stationed at Naval Station Great Lakes in Illinois. North Port, Florida
North Port is a city located in Sarasota County, Florida, United States. The population was 74,793 at the 2020 US Census. It is part of the North Port–Bradenton–Sarasota Metropolitan Statistical Area. It was originally developed by General Development Corporation as the northern / Sarasota County portion of its Port Charlotte development, the other portion located in the adjacent Charlotte County. Crime Library was a website documenting major crimes, criminals, trials, forensics, and criminal profiling from books. It was founded in 1998 and was most recently owned by truTV, a cable TV network that is part of Time Warner's Turner Broadcasting System. In August 2014, Crime Library was no longer being updated. In February 2015 the site was taken offline. Content Crime Library contained an extensive collection of crime related articles, which were separated into categories: Serial Killers, Notorious Murders, Criminal Mind, Terrorists & Spies and Gangsters & Outlaws. Each category was then broken down into further subcategories. David Lohr
David Lohr (born 1974) is an American journalist who has written about and interviewed many of the world's most notorious criminals. Lohr gained national prominence in 2003 when Wichita, Kansas serial killer Dennis Rader (then known only as BTK), wrote letters to news outlets. ShorePoint Health Punta Gorda, is a for-profit hospital in Punta Gorda, Florida, owned by Community Health Systems. History On August 17, 1947, Charlotte Hospital opened in Charlotte County becoming the first hospital in the county. It had 12 hospital beds, an emergency department, X-ray and laboratory. The need in Charlotte County was so great that the hospital expanded to 25 beds two years later. In 1959, Charlotte Hospital changed its name to Charlotte Community Hospital, and then to Medical Center in 1966. TruTV (stylized as truTV) is an American basic cable channel owned by Warner Bros. Discovery. The channel primarily broadcasts comedy, docusoaps and reality shows. Military Discharge
A military discharge is given when a member of the armed forces is released from their obligation to serve. Each country's military has different types of discharge. They are generally based on whether the persons completed their training and then fully and satisfactorily completed their term of service. Other types of discharge are based on factors such as the quality of their service, whether their service had to be ended prematurely due to humanitarian or medical reasons, whether they had been found to have drug or alcohol dependency issues and whether they were complying with treatment and counseling, and whether they had demerits or punishments for infractions or were convicted of any crimes.
