Daniel Carver
Daniel Carver is an American white supremacist and former Grand Dragon of the "Invisible Empire, Knights of the Ku Klux Klan" based in Georgia. Carver was suspended from wearing Klan robes and from attending Klan rallies after a 1986 conviction for "terroristic threats". In October 1987 he was sued for violating the civil rights of others in Forsyth County, Georgia, after interfering in the "Brotherhood March" celebrating Martin Luther King Jr. Day. He and several other members of two Ku Klux Klan groups threw bottles and rocks at the marchers, and encouraged other crowd members to follow suit. Fines of around $940,000 were issued; the Invisible Empire of the Ku Klux Klan were fined $400,000 and he personally was ordered to pay $30,000 in punitive damages to the marchers. White supremacy or white supremacism is the belief that white people are superior to those of other races and thus should dominate them. The belief favors the maintenance and defense of any power and privilege held by white people. White supremacy has roots in the now-discredited doctrine of scientific racism and was a key justification for European colonialism. The Wack Pack is the name given to an assortment of personalities heard throughout the history of ''The Howard Stern Show''. As a parody of the Rat Pack or Brat Pack, Stern biographer Richard Mintzer has labeled them a key part of the show. Members tend to be unusual in some way: being blatantly racist, mentally disabled, having a comical appearance, voice or ability, or some combination thereof. As of 2016, twenty four living individuals are designated "Wack Packers" (along with a number of deceased).
